Alright, this thread starts with everyone gathered together at the airpad, getting ready to board the Aegean. I figured we could skip the bus ride since nothing significant would happen there anyway.
The air was moist and cold, a light misty fog rolling in off of the ocean and hanging low to the ground all throughout the city. It was especially thick out here in the wide open area of the airpad. The sky was dark and overcast, the hour too early yet for the sun.
Seifer and Squall stood before the numerous group with the gleaming bulk of the Aegean at their backs.
"Pass these around," Squall handed a stack of papers off to Stella. He raised his voice, addressing them all. "This is a more detailed outline of your mission, as well as several notes regarding the objectives for each team and what I expect to be accomplished. It also covers everything that was discussed during our meeting, and even elaborates on a few key things. I would advise taking time during your flight to give this a once-over. It might tell you something you didn't realize you needed to know."
He then knelt down and withdrew from a duffel bag three sleek black cellular phones. "Xu mentioned to me that while you were collecting the gems for Trinity, communication was, at times, an issue." He paused to toss one to Rayden, one to Jax, and one to Stardust. "While I don't think giving all of you a cell phone is necessary, I do agree with her in that they should be provided. Any contact numbers you should need are already programmed into the phones, including my own personal cell phone." He crossed his arms, his gaze traveling to each of the three who'd received one. "Keep in mind, though, that in the midst of war, there is no such thing as safety. These devices are traceable. With the right equipment, enemy forces may listen in on conversations. They may even be able to track you using them. I would advise keeping them turned off at all times, and of course only use them when you have no choice.
"Everything you requested from me last night is already on the airship; the gas masks, the bugging equipment, and even some extra explosives for Stanton. It is also stocked with a healthy supply of medical provisions. This will most likely only be a one-day operation, so you shouldn't need to use it, but there is a bunker area below the main deck with resting compartments and bedding supplies. The ship is full on fuel and stocked to capacity with ammunition.
"With all of that said, I believe we're set. If there are no further questions you are more than welcome to board and be off. Have a safe flight, and don't disappoint me."
Okie dokie, something I should prolly point out: - The people Squall gave cell phones too aren't necessarily the owners of the phones. I don't care if any of those characters wants to pass their phone off to someone else. He's just giving three phones to the group as a whole, they can be distributed however the group sees fit. (although I seriously doubt "the group" would EVER agree on who should get the phones XD)
With that said, feel free to have your charrie board the ship. Mya, go ahead and have Jax lift us off when everyone is on!

Deo stood amongst the group with his shoulders hunched and his eyes bloodshot. In his right hand was a tightly clenched cup of seeDbucks coffee with eight extra shots.
"Sir, you shouldn't get that many shots in your coffee... it'll keep you up for days!" the guy at the register had said.
"JUST POUR THE DAMN COFFEE!!" Deo had roared back. He had been inches close to lighting a bomb and blowing up everything in sight.
Now the coffee was taking its toll. It was making Deo even more cranky and twitchy. The sun wasn't even up yet, this was inhumane!!! Missions shouldn't start until at least after noon. He glared over at his sister, who was standing stick straight with wide, alert eyes. Her attentiveness infuriated him.
"Gimme that!," Deo marched up to Stella and snatched a paper from her before storming inside the airship.
Take away my sleep will they...

"You're welcome" Stella called playfully after Deo with a little smile. Someone looked a little cranky. All though she was totally jealous of his cup of SeeDbucks coffee. They needed to put one of those into the standard plans of all airships every where.
Holding the stack of papers in hand she weaved her way through the group making sure that everyone received one. Pausing she skimmed the final one in her hands making sure she knew every detail on it. She was totally prepared for this mission. Today was going to be a good day, she just knew it.
Carefully folding the paper she tucked it into the inside pocket of her jacket before turning and heading up the ramp of the ship. She didn't just walk up it, she strut up it every ounce of her confidence pouring through. Stella was so ready for this.

Jaime opened her mouth in full blown shock. The vision in front of her was simply breath-taking and she didn't know if her eyes were playing tricks on her. It was like the time she had stumbled upon a flower blooming on top of a cactus during one of her field tests as a Cadet in Balamb Garden, the year before she had quit. People told her this kind of thing happened maybe once ever thirty years, or hundred, she couldn't remember.
Deo was actually reporting for the misson on time! And he was not sleeping! Van (and perhaps it was Blaze's duty now) didn't have to carry him around line a sack of tatoes! Jaime felt her lips quivering.
"Thanks Stella." She said tearfully after receiving one of the fliers from her...or what she thought was a flier. She could hardly pay attention to Squall with the incredible sight before her eyes. She rushed into the airship after Deo and clapped a hand on her friend, who looked extremely unlike his goofy self.
"DEO! I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY TOUCHED!" She cried, hugging him and wiping tears from her eyes. "You're awake! I promise you, after we return to our place, I will throw a mini party in your honour!" She declared. "Signe will be so proud of you if she knew."

Gemma had to squint her eyes as the massive propellors of the Aegean blew rolling gusts of wind into her face. Lost behind the slate grey fog, the sun was trying to catch a glimpse of them, only to be seen as tiny shards of lights glistening like jewels along the ocean. Had she not felt the small quiver of nerves rumble in the pit of her stomache, she might have been able to appreciate the beauty of the fog.
How ironic...to be sent off to an unknown fate on a day like this...
Cupping her hands over her mouth to warm them, she could see with her peripheral vision that Hadrian was standing not too far away.
I wonder if he's sleepy..? she thought, remembering the crash-course he had given her only two hours ago. Just thinking about the mission was stirring up a mix of emotions in her. She wasn't nervous. More like anxious. Even excited.
"DEO! I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY TOUCHED!" Jaime was running up the ramp, screaming and crying a string of things as she went.
Gemma sighed. Her little moment of reflection was broken. Swinging her duffle bag over her shoulder, she took a flyer from Stella and walked towards the docking ramp
Reaching the top, she stopped. She took a final look behind her. Then stepped onto the deck.

Lawric took Van's hand and moved he and her both in line behind Gemma, ushering his smaller friend up the steps ahead of him as they joined the others who were already aboard the ship. Jaime was singing Deo some nonsensical praises in a very shrill voice that filled the interior of the aircraft and echoed off the metallic walls in an almost painful way. Being her generally embarrassing self. He released Van's hand as they entered the cockpit, frowning at Jaime.
"Come on," he said dryly. "Tone it down a little, yeah?" He raised his eyebrows at her pointedly, before pausing and shifting his attention to Deo, who had one twitching eye.
"Man, what did you spike that with?" He glanced at the cup.
-_-; don't ask me why Law felt the need to usher along Van like she's his child. haha idk why he did that. I guess he feels protective of her since she's all small and young compared to everyone else? >.<

Reese folded the stapled mission statement in half and slipped it into the inner pocket of his dark coat, before moving in succession with the others up into the ship.
/She's LOUUUUD./ Perish whined.
He glanced over at Jaime as he passed her small group of friends on his way to the back of the observation deck. He had been in a pretty decent mood all morning, but this blonde's intense manner of expression was already slightly irritating to be around. Hyne, she's on my team... He scowled and looked elsewhere, hoping this wasn't a foreshadow of what he would have to put up with throughout the entire mission.
He put a bit of distance between himself and most of the others, leaning against the wall with crossed arms and watching the doorway dispassionately as the rest of the group boarded the ship.

Jax nearly dropped the cellphone that Squall had thrown to him. Throughout the rest of Squall's briefing, his mouth was literally hanging wide open and for some strange reason, he found himself incapable of wiping the smile off his face.
There she was. Just sitting there sweetly, waiting for him. She was even more beautiful than he had imagined. Squall had mentioned something about improved turbine engines and so last night, he had lain there awake for hours, just trying to imagine what she'd look like. And here she was in the flesh. Her steel metal frame glistened in the sunlight, with wispy sails like silk gently flowing in the breeze. She was elegant and sleek, yet possessed a graceful strength. Simply gorgeous.
"Oh mama mama..." Jax murmured, his eyes glazed over as his stared at his beloved new airship. The very thought made him chuckle with astonishment. She was his ship.
"Oh man.." he shook his head in disbelief. Straightening his head up, he spotted Stella standing in front of the ramp with a stack of papers in her hand.
With a jaunty bounce in his step, he marched towards her and requested a flyer with a wink. Nothing could spoil his good mood today.
Hopping onto the deck, he looked into the glow of the sun and smiled. Kneeling down, he patted the steel frame of the bow affectionately.
Hello you. I guess I should introduce myself huh? Seeing that you and I are going to be spending some time together. Well...how I should I begin? I guess a name would be good right? Heh. Well I'm Ajax Darius Ridean. You can call me Jax. Most people do. And you're the Aegean. Well it's verynice to meet you.
There were some loud voices coming from the inside of the ship. He immediately recognized Jaime's shrill voice and spotted Van being ushered into the interior with Lawric. He suddenly heard the loud thump of footsteps behind him.
It was that ex-Dotna guy. He had remained pretty silent during the meeting and didn't seem like the kind of person to say much and sure enough, he assumed a lonely position in the corner against the wall. Nonetheless, Jax walked over towards him. "Hey man. I don't think we've been introduced. I'm Jax Ridean" he stuck out his hand."...I'm the pilot guy. You're Reese right? Anyways, I think mostly everyone's inside, but you can chill out here if you want. We'll probably be taking off in ten minutes."

Zacke folded the mission documents over twice and crammed them into his pocket, eager to get into the ship and see what it was like. A low whistle escaped his lips as his eyes circling the interior. It was as impressive on the inside as the outside, and this was only one room! Definitely the nicest aircraft we've ever used, he decided, thinking back on Lady Luck. This Estharian beauty made the Lady seem like a pile of junk in retrospect.
He crossed the observation deck in a hurry, moving around people and totally ignoring the commotion of ongoing conversations.
Okay, sure, Jax is the numero uno big boss pilot, yadda yadda... but I can help! Every pilot has a wingman.
/Please. You just can't handle letting someone else be the leader./
Zacke glanced around for a minute before spotting an ascending staircase. He turned toward it abruptly. Hey, it's not like that. He probably is gonna need a little help, and I'm obviously the only one who is interested. He bounded up the stairs, gripping and releasing the railing as he went and skipping over every other step.
He could hear his Guardian snort in his mind. /You aren't a pilot. You're not even a decent driver. You'll just be an annoyance up there./
I'll keep him company. he retorted, undaunted by her criticism.
He came to the top of the last flight and emerged in what was obviously the cockpit. "Jackpot." He grinned and rushed eagerly to one of the seats situated before the expansive control panel, falling down into it and staring at the array of shiny buttons and dials before him in starry-eyed awe.

Reese took Jax's offered hand shake, meeting eyes with him.
"Yeah. Reese Amaerick."
When he pulled his hand away, he re-crossed his arms. "Ten minutes?" His tone was dry. "That's an optimistic--" His sentence was interrupted by the Zacke's voice over the Aegean's intercom system. His gaze shifted upward toward the sound.
"SWEET! INTERCOM! HEY, CAN YOU GUYS HEAR ME??"
Reese's gaze returned to Jax, his expression blank. "Sounds like someone beat you to the controls."

AHAHAH SeeDbucks XD Deo XD -----------------------------------------------------
"SWEET! INTERCOM! HEY, CAN YOU GUYS HEAR ME??"
Stardust stepped inside the airship just in time to hear Zacke's booming voice in the intercom. It almost broke her eardrums. She placed the cellphone in her pockets and continued to move along. The ship's design was extravagant, Stardust wondered how it was going to crash this time. She was as sure as daylight this airship would crash today or tomorrow. She might as well hand Jax some ropes to hang around his neck.
/Aww, don't be the pessimist. Get on with the program./ Diwata was giggling. Stardust spotted Jax and Reese as she went further.
"Hey!" Stardust hollered at Jax as she passed. "If you have any care about this airship, you'll chase that weirdo on the intercom out of the cockpit. He crashed our airship last time!"
/Was that really what happened??/ Diwata couldn't remember now.
"Weirdo." She grumbled and walked around the main hall for a while looking for a place to settle down. She doubted Reese would let her hang out with him now. Maybe if she went further north down the hall, she'd find a peaceful place away from the noisy bunch.
It was weird, but she was more ready to do this mission than what she had thought.

Gotta explore the Aegean ^.^ I hope I didn't mess up on the directions ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hadrian gave the Aegean ship a good look before approaching it. He was so preoccupied in deciphering the pathophysiology of the airship that he barely paid attention to Squall's morning briefing. Jax must probably the happiest person in the world to operate a ship like this. How did B. Garden manage to salvage a ship like that? It was...way better than the airships they give at Trabia. He looked at the paper Stella gave him. "Mission objectives, huh?" He climbed up the ramp and into the Aegean. Amazing. It was like the paper could read his mind and telling him not to get carried away once there. He folded the paper and rammed it in one of his many pockets. Gemma probably knew where to get the equipments for herself. She said she could manage with those little information he told her, so his conscience was clear. He yawned. /A signal that Morpheus is calling./ Checking the interior of the pad, he saw some of his teammates and the Opps were already inside. He heard Zacke's voice in the intercom. He's at the cockpit already? Somehow, he wanted to follow and inspect the kind of controls the ship has too, but right now, he'd rather go at the corner and chill. Chill...He paused at the absurdity of the thought. Actually, maybe he would just go down the sub-levels and check out the cannons. Hadrian caught sight of the stairs south of the main hall and headed down. Lurking his gaze around, he felt his sluggish mood dissipating when he reached the gunroom. You gotta be kidding... There were like mountains of treasures in there. Pile and pile of artilleries and various guns, rifles were all sitting in the area. The smell of gunpowder was faint, but he definitely wouldn't want to be in here with some pyromaniac. He walked further and reached the... /Tertiary Firing Car./ How did you know that? At the sight of it, Hadrian was quickly all over the firing cannon, examining it like a kid. This cannon looks rad!/The label situated approximately 5 feet above allowed me to identify such weapon./ He definitely wouldn't be bored here.

Hahaha Lawric ^.^ -----------------------------------------------
Vanesse couldn't stop laughing. Deo's look was priceless. If only someone was taping him right now. Jaime's outburst just made her laughter worse.
"DEO!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU TEWWWW~!" She joined with the hugging. She noticed they've been group hugging each other more often lately. First Lawric, and then Deo. "I'LL EVEN LEND YOU MY SPRAY CANS AND YOU CAN DRAW PANDA FACES ON YOUR BOMBS!" Squeezing Deo tightly, Vanesse accidentally spilled the SeeDbuck coffee Deo was holding.
She paused to look down. "Oops."

I'm posting on the assumption that both Jun and Rayden weren't too affected emotionally by the events of their threads in miscellaneous..haha
Rayden pocketed the cellphone issued to him by the Headmaster. He hoped he wouldn't have to resort to using it, seeing as that would mean trouble brewing in their mission. For some reason he felt a little apprehensive about this one. Perhaps it was their huge team splitting up into bite sized little morsels that caused it. People didn't say "strength in numbers" for nothing.
He cast a worried look at Stella when she passed by and handed him one of the papers, but it melted away when he offered a wink and a smile for her. He could split his brains over those problems later, if and when they happened. No use fretting over them now.
He smirked a little watching the way Stella strutted confidently into the airship. He thought she had seemed a little uneasy last night but perhaps she had gotten over it already. He allowed the Opps and some others to pass before entering the airship. The interior was cool with air-conditioning, probably a brand new one from the smell of it. Rayden remembered that some of the older airships had a musty, worn out smell about them but this one was sparkling clean and pristine.
He walked up to Stella standing in front of her with his smirk intact.
"I see that someone is ready and raring to go." He drawled, snaking an arm to rest on her shoulder. "That strut of yours is contagious you know. I would demonstrate for you its effects but I don't think the others would appreciate it."
---
Jun was one of the last ones in the airship. She had been reading the mission objectives and by the time she finished, most of her teammates had already boarded the airship. With a sigh she walked up behind Rayden noticing that almost everyone was congregating with their little cliques. She stole a look towards Lawric; he was looking on with a slight frown while Jaime, Van and Deo appeared to be in the midst of a group hug. Thoughts of the previous night floated across her mind. She hesitated. Should she approach him? She was unsure of how he would think of her now and maybe she was afraid to find out.
Looking at the group she couldn't help noticing that Lawric, when he was with his Opps teammates was different from the Lawric alone with her. Well duh...Combined with last night's repucussions some kind of invisible barrier erected to quell her feet from approaching him. Jun had never felt more like a coward than right now.
She started for the pile of equipment stacked neatly in one corner instead. At least she would have something useful to do, instead of standing around fretting about stuff entirely unconnected to the mission.
Especially when said distraction would be on the same team with her.

"No" Stella said quietly smiling up at Rayden enjoying the feel of his arm touching her all too much, "I don't think the others would appreciate you swaggering around the deck"
"I'm just feeling confident today. I think we are totally going to nail this mission. Its about time things start going right for this team" She grinned at him inching a bit closer to him.
"You better not distract me while we are down there before the teams split up" she poked him a little, "I, however, don't even have to try and distract you it just happens naturally" she finished with a flirty little smile.
