I know XD ------------------------
Hadrian clicked his tongue when he noticed another user was logged onto the same server he was on. It could either be the system programmer or someone like him. He was tempted to see who it was but refrained not to. After all, "he" was supposed to be non-existent in this network. He checked the satellite behind him and confirmed that the unknown user hadn't spotted them yet--either that, or he was letting them be.
Good. Stay like that. He should hurry up.
/System mimicry complete./ CQ announced. He was in! Immediately, Hadrian fiddled with the security system and temporarily disabled any alarm and lockdown program they might trigger inside and outside the room.
Just then, thousands of files suddenly floated in front of his eyes through the goggles. From a distance, they almost looked like jagged puzzle pieces. He quickly drew a rectangle with his finger and a virtual keyboard appeared. Typing as fast as he could, he pulled up a search of all the top secret files among the sea of relevant and irrelevant files. His free hand reached for a microflash drive in his pocket. Then, he pulled off its protective cap using his teeth exposing the USB connector. He needed an extra space.
/Search successfully completed. 8002 files found./ In an instant, the important files obediently separated from the irrelevants and lined up in front of him. He smacked the flash drive in one of the small ports in the laptop.
"Got 'em!" Hadrian smirked and initiated copying.
/Copying files...please wait..../ said CQ. Hadrian took a moment to stare at the sea of files before him. Then he proceeded to make another search.
<Maricella D'arcell> he typed.
-------------------- LOL I'm just thinking when you're looking at Hadrian's goggles you see a virtual world but to the person sitting beside him, he'll just see him typing and touching air. XD He absolutely looks cuckoo haha

Rayden leaned against the wall next to the door, rolling his eyes at Hadrian's exaggerations. Best bud? The hacker seemed in rather high spirits--but that was hardly surprising. He was in his element here. If Rayden was diving in a room full of gil he would be as enthusiastic as Hadrian too.
His arms crossed at the chest. For now, he could only stand and guard, which meant doing nothing at their present situation. Not that he was complaining. If the mission went smoothly he probably wouldn't have to move a muscle at all. Easiest mission he had ever been to. They hadn't even heard a peep from any Dotna---were they so reliant on their security system that it handicapped their ability so much when it was used against them? It just reconfirmed Rayden's theory that noone should place all their eggs in the technology basket.
He cast a glance at the others standing by with their keyboards, then at the star player of this mission. He couldn't help but smirk. The hacker was typing furiously on thin air, but whatever he was looking at through those goggles was obviously far from thin air.
"Got 'em!" Hadrian announced with a smirk. "That was fast." Rayden said, nodding impressedly. "Whatddya know, we could really be the first ones to finish our mission just as Blaze wishes." He grinned widely, eyes flickering automatically towards the door.

Hadrian got in about three or four seconds of uninhibited file-pirating before something happened. The floating information before him suddenly completely froze in place, and all progress on his copying maneuvers came to a halt.
Before he even had time to attempt to fix the glitch in progress he was locked out of the system.
Gemma, Zacke, and Blaze's screens all lit up; but none of them asked for a password the way Hadrian instructed they would. Instead, each of their screens depicted a central popup with an odd query: What is your favorite color?, an entry space for text, and an "OK" button.

Hearing Hadrian's jubilant announcement, Gemma breathed a sigh of relief. If she had any doubts before about Hadrian's hacking abilities, she withdrew all of them. After all, he had led them through their mission without a single hiccup yet. And once, she bugged the room, they would be out of here in minutes. Smiling to herself, she placed the sensor back onto the table. No sooner did she set down the sensor, when its screen suddenly lit up. In a millisecond, her fingers found their way to the keyboard interface. Well so..there might be some tiny hiccups...She quickly recalled the order again. It was going to go Blaze...then Zacke...then her.. Blaze then Zacke then her... It was then that she realized that neither Blaze nor Zacke were typing anything. Both of them were staring at their sensors, looks of confusion registered on their faces. Gemma stared at her own sensor. Instead of a password prompt, like Hadrian had said, the screen read.. "What is your favorite color?" Gemma muttered frantically. "Um..Hadrian?" she yelled out. "What is your favorite color? "

AHAHA Gemma XD ------------------------------------ It felt like a cold breeze had gone past him online and offline the moment everything in his virtual reality froze. Hadrian closed his eyes and silently cursed. He was locked out of the system faster than he could type his mother's name. "What is your favorite color?" He heard Gemma from behind him. "Um..Hadrian?" she yelled out. "What is your favorite color? " Hadrian couldn't help but grin. "Wow, he's fast, broke through the barricades already." /Warning. Detecting an unrecognizable entity gaining access through our local firewall./ CQ warned. /System deletion commencing./ "Trying to get to where I am, huh?" He ejected the ROM microchip from his laptop and placed it in his pocket. Inside, he was very annoyed. He didn't find out anything about his mom. Squall Leonhart would just have to make do with what little files he managed to salvage. Nah, CQ, don't shut it down. Let him break through the firewall. Typing a little, he opened a corrupted file within the laptop. Immediately, a nasty virus polluted the virtual environment. He named the file, "youcanhaveityouf$cker.exe". Enjoy."Party's over, guys. We have to get outta here!" Hadrian cut off the wires connecting his gloves to the laptop, then pulled off the corrupted goggles from his eyes throwing it to the ground. He was going to miss that laptop.

Zacke stared at the screen blankly. "Um..Hadrian? What is your favorite color?"Gemma's yelling was enough to distract him from his current train of thought, which was really more of a slow-moving Huh? locomotive than a 'train.' He noticed Hadrian's quick movements, cutting wires and taking off pieces of his gear... "Dude?!" Zacke frowned up at Hadrian as the hacker stood. "Party's over, guys. We have to get outta here!" "Hey, whoa, wait a minute," Zacke set his keypad down and came to his feet. "How do you know we have to leave now? Did someone detect us? If so, you need to keep us all on the same page bro, 'cause all we got is some random ass prompt about favorite colors and right now I am fucking confused." He paused for a second, then added, "And you know what, even if someone did detect us, we still can't exactly just leave. Gemma's got to bug the place. That's part of our mission." He crossed his arms. "How much info did you get, anyway?"

She couldn't understand why Hadrian was grinning. "Wow, he's fast, broke through the barricades already." he proclaimed matter-of-factly.
The next thing that happened stunned her. Hadrian had literally begun to dissemble his laptop and the rest of his equipment. "What are you doing?" she sputtered. "Did you retrieve all the files?!"
"Party's over, guys. We have to get outta here!" he yelled instead, breaking out into a sprint towards the exit.
Guess the answer's a no then..
Gemma groaned inwardly. But there was still a way that she could salvage the rest of the mission. Snatching her duffle bag, she rummaged through the massive amount of bugging devices she had packed. Feeling with her fingers, she pulled out the tiny compact jewlery box in which she had stored her "ladybugs." Tagging and microphones plants were out of the question at this point. Time was running out.

Hadrian's way was blocked by Zacke who interrogated him with questions. He had to stare at him a couple of times to make sense of what he was saying. Then, it hit him. They still hadn't figured out what was going on.
"Tch." Hadrian ran his fingers through his hair and scratched his head furiously. "See here....We've been detected. They got you even before you had the chance to counter them. As of this moment, they know I hacked the system and they know we're here." He pulled off his gloves and threw it on the ground as well. "As for the files...I told you I got 'em, didn't I?" He walked around Zacke and glanced at Gemma. He didn't have to tell her to bug the place, she was doing it already.
/Successfully copied files reached only up to 30%/ CQ announced. She didn't have to repeat it.
"Just throw the bugs on the monitors, they're good at hiding," he said flatly. They really have to get out of here. Somehow, he didn't feel safe just standing here like this--even if there were five of them here. "But hey, look at the bright side." He shrugged. "You didn't have to input anything afterall."

Just as Hadrian singlehandedly made the group decision to leave, the sound of heavy steel locks sliding together and grinding into place echoed off of the walls of the mainframe room, almost as if the locks Hadrian had set in place with his computer unlocked and then re-locked themselves.
The sound was followed by silence.

Blaze tensed and abruptly unleashed her claws when the metal doors slammed down, completely enclosing her team. She swerved around, glaring cautiously at every corner of the room, waiting to be ambushed. Nothing happened, it was completely silent.
Blaze's claws went back into her gloves with a 'chink' "Well now we're completely FUCKED!!" She shouted loudly, her voice echoing off their metal prison. She angrily threw her sensor to the floor and the screen cracked, sending shards of glass flying all over the floor. To her fury the senor didn't break, it merely kept flashing the words, "what is your favorite color?"
"Red, okay?! It's red." Blaze snatched up the sensor and typed in 'red' and pressed the enter key.

Hadrian froze when he heard the grinding sound of locks in the air. He brought his gaze towards the steel doors. Just as expected, the security's functioning--and this time very active--again. They were locked down.
"Troublesome, definitely troublesome," he grumbled and rubbed his forehead in annoyance. Blaze couldn't control her manic attack and started clawing on the doors but to no avail. She started screaming but to no avail. Discontented, she tried to destroy his sensor but to no avail. Until finally, she listened to the screen and started typing her favorite color. He wondered if Blaze had any comprehension of what he just told them a second ago.
Blinking a couple of times, Hadrian laughed out loud. "You...hahaha....you're a sucker, aren't you?" he told her bluntly. "No matter what you put there, it wouldn't matter. That sensor's hacked. Don't you get it?"

Carefully, Gemma lifted the final 'ladybug' from the box and gently placed it onto one of the central surveillance monitors. To her amazement, not only were the mites infinitesimally small, but their shells instantaneously blended in with their surroundings---this time, it was the soft, silvery blue metal of the monitor that the bug adapted.
All of a sudden, she was halted by the scraping sound of metal. Whipping her head towards the direction of the mainframe's metal vault doors, she realized that they were locked in.
"Well now we're completely FUCKED!!" Blaze cried out on the other side of the room as she unleashed her fury onto the steel doors.
Gemma winced. The clawed female was causing quite a commotion. To her left, Hadrian seemed stunned as well by their current situation, although more amused than anything by Blaze's reaction.
"Well, let's just think of it this way," she finally pronounced. "We're locked in, so no one's coming in. For now, at least." she added.
Stalking over towards where she had left her things, Gemma continued to pull out more bugging equipment.
Might as well give it a shot...seeing as how we might be here for a while...

Just a second or two after Blaze answered the prompt with her favorite color, all of the monitors in the room came on and turned blue. Along with this, speakers sounded as if they had just come on, and a faint static carried on throughout the room.
Suddenly, a man's voice joined that static.
"Hey, why'd you bail out D'Arcell?"

"Well, let's just think of it this way," Gemma optimistically said. "We're locked in, so no one's coming in. For now, at least."
There was something about being locked in that just didn't sit well with him. It was probably because of the fact that he felt bound--no, not felt, they really were bound. Hadrian's laughter was about to die when all of the monitor screens in the room turned blue. Through the static he heard some voice call to him, saying something about him bailing out.
Great. Thanks to Blaze, the situation just got worse. How did that idiot know his name? Through hacking his laptop? It wasn't like he puts his name on his own laptop like some textbook. Wait...
"D'arcell who?" Hadrian smirked, shooting a scowl at one of the monitors on his side. "Sorry, can't hear you, you're breaking out."
This was pathetic. This dude even knew his last name. It was either he saw through his secret search or he already knew they were coming. If this was the same hacker who broke through his barricades in less than half a second, then bailing out would spare them a whole lot of time and effort. This never happened to him before, so he had no idea what else to do.
"Hey, I think this hacker said he wants us to destroy this place. Summon all your GFs and let's break through here already." Hadrian raised his voice so that the guy on the other line could hear them clearly. "Don't worry, leave it to me. I swear I'll sell all your motherchips for a low price at SeeDbay." Hadrian tapped one of the monitors assuringly. He had enough of this. He didn't like being restricted to this place--even more being played by another hacker.

"Ah-ah-ah... " the unknown man's voice interrupted Hadrian through hazy static. "I don't think you want to do that. Destroy the wrong component and the system will launch a pre-programmed self-destruct mechanism. And I don't mean just the mainframe room, by the way -- I mean the whole compound."
He cleared his throat, and the smile on his lips could almost be heard in his voice. "Aside from the five of you, you have friends in the compound elsewhere, don't you? Wouldn't want them to get hurt."
He let out a laugh.
"And see D'Arcell," He cleared his throat again. The sound of his voice was youthful, but at the same time gritty. "While you were still plugged in, you had a chance. There's still a lot of info you don't have. If you would have soldiered on a little, you might have even managed to lock me out of there. You've let me down, man. I thought maybe I was about to finally encounter someone worth matching wits with... But you bailed. Lame for me, and bad move for you, your team, and your mission, 'cause now you've got a possibly defective flash drive and you're all stuck." He clicked his tongue.
