Dark~
Terry smiled to the, well... not so warm, welcome. But hey who was he to try and be everyone's friend?
Well at least they tried... right?
Smiling back to Rika to show that he is much obliged to her hospitality, he went to the back of the room of Deathstrike to scan everyone on board.
Hmmm... well Alyeena seems nice enough. And Rika likes to work alone, why else would she be in the back of the room like me? Zacke and Col are a little... brash, but hey! I bet they just can't get this thing started like everyone else. Terry smiles at the thought. Never would he have guessed he would be working with the best of the SeeDs, even if he was considered the best assassin out there he would have never guessed.
I hope I don't look to weird smiling so much...
He saw another girl in the way back also... Was it, I-I think her, name was... Stardust, right?
When Terry decided to go say hi, he felt someone... reading him. Turning his head he catches a glimpse of Tomoe.
Oh of course she would be able to detect me so easily. But she doesn't look to happy, why?
Trying to shake the uneasy feeling the whole group of wild, peaceful, or menacing characters, he started walking through the crowd silently, applying all he's learned from his stealth tactics, he goes behind Gaiea to see what she was up to.
[Do you know when we'll arrive to the destination?] the paper he held in front of Gaiea said. He wanted to get to know everyone... like his clan, before someone... is gone.... like his clan. Shaking his head to clear away the images he turns to Gaiea and looks questioning at her.
Deciding to just sit where he currently was and wait for a reply from Gaiea, he became comfortable to allow himself to begin meditating until they reach the research center.
I sure hope I get to talk with some of them when we get there...

Blaze blocked out the sounds of her teammates and stared blankly at the ceiling until she felt a shoulder brush past her. She blinked her eyes from the trance, and followed the others- she hadn't heard a word they'd spoken. Blaze wasn't one for listening.
Blaze looked over and acknowledged her companions, when she saw someone familiar. Her face broke out into a grin as they boarded and took their seats in the aircraft.
"Tomoe, nice to see a friendly face" she grinned.

Zacke sat down on the floor and leaned against the wall.
Hey, it's a place to sit... he thought.
He looked around. No one seemed relatively content, except for that silent guy that kept smiling.
Well how could they? They were just dispatched on what would most likely be the most important mission of their lives. Stress, anxiety, fear...it was all setting in.
Well, whatever. But being cold and distant is their choice, but it's not going to help the mission any, I mean, we need to be able to trust eachother.
"Hey...um...I forgot your name, but anyway, why don't you talk?" he asked Terry.
Okay...that sounded a little insensitive...but seriously, it's going to be a pain to read little notes the whole mission.

Gaiea glanced at the paper in front of her, gray eyes reading it quickly, before turning to the person holding it. He was smiling politely and she smiled back. "No idea when we'll arrive, actually. The Research Center moves around, so we have to find it first. If I'm correct though, it won't be too long."
She leaned over to where Colum was pressing buttons. "Set a course for Longhorn Island. The western end of it." I hope the earth hasn't failed me this time. Else I'll end up looking ridiculous.
Kyou spoke up from his place at the back. "What makes you think you know where it is?"
Gaiea didn't even look at him, just stretched her long legs out in front of her. "Do you have a better suggestion?"
"Maybe I do!" he snapped, starting forward, eyes blazing. He stopped short when Gaiea's eyes zipped to him. Why did he find himself unable to move when pinned under her gaze? He shook himself and continued moving forward.
"Really? Then what is it?" she asked dryly, one corner of her mouth quirked upward.
Kyou fidgeted, before tensing and yelling, "Shut up! I'll tell you when I'm damn good and ready to!"
"You do that," she responded boredly, before leaning back in her chair. "You got those coordinates in yet, Colum?"

Colum waved a hand at Gaeia's question. "Doing it now," he quipped, placing quick, assured fingers on the navigational panel, typing in the coordinates for Longhorn Island.
He frowned, there was something wrong here, and if he was not mistaken, the co-ordinates were right.
"Gaeia, what's the coordinates of Longhorn Island? They're not coming up on the radar screen and I'm sure they're right."

seiferfetish~ Gaiea frowned, as she stood and leaned over the panel. "Should be 43W, 110N."
She glanced back at Alyeena, who was immersed in the journal, then looked around at everyone else. "The coordinates for Longhorn Island are 43W, 110N, right?"
Somewhat bewildered, she plopped down into her seat. Not even off the runway and already having problems. Then she leaned forward again. "Didn't the Research Center never appear on the Ragnarok's radar?! They had to search for it each time!" YES, she thought excitedly. "Don't worry about coordinates then, just fly manually."

Broken out of his meditation, he returns a friendly smile to Zacke. Terry flips out his notepad once again and juts down.
[It's alright, the name's Terry Wildwish. Just call me Terry.]
Terry continues to write on his pad, his hands going a blur almost too fast for the human eye to follow.
[Well, in truth... I can speak. I just... well don't like to. I hope I'm not going to trouble anyone by the way I communicate. It helps with my hand speed also....
Terry gives off a dazzling smirk that practically yells that he is confident in his abilities.
...comes in real handy when your an assassin.]
Terry then turned the paper he was hold around and showed the back to Gaiea.
[Thank you.] He smiles gently to the answer. [Good luck.]
Terry turns back to Zacke and throws a coiled up ball of paper at him.
[So tell me about yourself.] it said before Terry nods his head and gave a serious expression. After all he didn't want to keep on smiling or no one would take him seriously.

Zacke pulled the ball of paper apart and flattened it so he could read it.
"Heh, what's there to tell?" he looked up at Terry from his position on the floor of Deathstrike. "I eat...I breathe...I sleep...I draw." he said.

Colum gave an exasperated sigh. "Damn, hoping I could actually rest for once and let the damned autopilot do its job," he said with a groan.
"Alright, ladies and gents....Fasten your safety belts and place your seats in an upright position. The Deathstrike is taking off!"
With practiced ease, Colum tilted the joystick in a downwards position, heading the plane up into the sky. He had forgotten how good it was to be able to fly a plane, being stuck in Garden could do that to you, he mused.
While Colum jerked the plane around in the air, Alyeena continued reading the journal.
Trinity's value is not something to be taken lightly. It is the only weapon strong enough to defeat any sorceress ever. Friends should know. They've seen the impressive size of Trinity, but only think it is one of my husband's swords, instead of Hyne's weapon. How foolish they are, but their foolishness saves them from an incredible burden.
Alyeena frowned. They were wise to dismiss it. Only fools would rush in to steal such a weapon she thought.

Finally,, Rika thought as the Deathstrike began to take off. She sat and looked out a window, as the scenery began to flash by outside. Soon, they were flying over the water; the emerald-blue ocean waters zoomed by, each wave just as glassy and placid as the next.
Tearing her eyes away from the outside scenery, Rika looked around. It seemed that the only one attempting to get acquainted was Terry.
Out of old habit, Rika summoned a simple water spell. The water danced across her fingertips, and she expertly moved her hands around, twisting the water into different shapes. It was always her form of playing. Plus, it was a great distraction from the happenings aboard the ship.

Stardust Infinity leaned on to the nearest railing and prepared for take off. She looked outside of the window. As soon as they were out in the vast ocean, the pink-haired girl couldn't help but notice its greatness. The deep blue sea, sparkling with radiance as the golden sun kisses its never ending waves.
It was just so soothing...
Staring at the awesome scenery outside Deathstrike, she concluded it was best to spend her time looking at the sea than to observe the incompetent people inside. She couldn't wait to arrive at the research center.

Sym, standing in her own tiny corner of the cockpit, fastened her gaze on the lands below as they rocked away. The young woman had always loved to fly, one of her first memories was of her father taking her up into the sky and away from her mother. The escape attempt had failed miserably, but Sym still remembered being above the clouds and loved replaying that memory over and over again. She always stopped the train of thought before it played out what had happened when she got home, though. . .
"So, Miss Alyeena, where do we start looking?"

"Deathstrike, that's the name of my guardian force!" Blaze laughed. "Well if it's the deep sea research center we're heading toward, then I'm sure we're all prepared for long bloody battles soon to come." She grinned as she saw looks of boredom turn into looks of interest at the sound of fighting.

Aly glanced up to hear Sym's voice ask her when they were gonna start looking.
"We're going to start looking as soon as Colum lands the Deathstrike," she said quietly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Gaiea leaned forward, looking further into the distance as Colum steered Deathstrike along its course. Her eyes narrowed as she scanned the horizon. Then they widened and she couldn't help the grin that broke out on her pretty face. "Look!" She pointed to the left side of the window. "The Research Center!" To the west of Longhorn Island!, she thought happily. The ocean was singing me right.
The smile fading, she turned to the intercom system and picked up the mic. "Attention, SeeDs. We're fast approaching the Research Center. Colum is going to set her down and we're heading in." She paused, before, "I shouldn't have to say this, but make sure you're Junctioned and ready for battle. If Leonhart had trouble in here, there's no doubt we will too. Teamwork is vital so forget about the petty differences right now. We're working for something bigger. Five minutes."
Kyoui rolled his eyes as he listened to Gaiea's spiel. "Who does she think she is, Quistis Trepe?" he hissed. But inside he knew she was right. His muscles were already tense with preparation as Juusan took its place among his memories and made him stronger. Red eyes narrow, he placed a quivering hand on Nokemono and strode to the stairway hatch, awaiting the "go" sign.
Tough battles lay ahead and Kyou was about to be in his element.
