Auria~
Zacke climbed into the helicopter after Blaze and sat down on one of the seats.
"Feeling horny O'Donahue?" he said dryly.
Hyne...we're on the way back to Xu to report our pathetic failure, and all he's got his mind on is Stardust's past. he thought irritably.
He bent over and put his head in his hands.
He suddenly remembered the paper he'd picked up in the Research Center. He took it from his pocket.
[We need ta talk later] it read.
He rolled his eyes. Oh swell, a conversation with the mute. This should prove to be a pleasant experience!
He looked around for Terry, and spotted him stepping into the chopper.
"Terry, what is this all about?" he asked, holding up the paper.

[Oh! yeah that, I forgot about that...] Terry wrote while having his attention diverted from the ocean by Zacke.
[What's up with that glimpse I saw in your eye when Tomoe bumped into you?] Terry raises his left eyebrow and looks suspiciously at Zacke. Terry was curious and smiled a bit.
[Hey, who knows right But I guess we should concentrate more on the mission at hand] Terry's new pad had on it.
[Do you have any idea who those guys were? Well besides Sorceress Supporters, they seem.... a little too organized]
Terry looked up at, what he felt was the leader of the team, Zacke questionably.

Auria~
Zacke read the notes one after another. Tedious. Why couldn't the guy just speak?
"Um...okay, I don't know what this 'glimpse' thing you're talking about is. I wasn't eyeing her chest when we nearly cracked each other's skulls." he laughed.
"And about these Adel Supporters, no clue. I'm hoping Xu knows more."
He handed Terry's notes back to him.

"Who's gonna make the speech about our failure to the Garden?" Blaze asked. No one replied. Blaze smirked. "I nominate Terry." She said, fully knowing that he didn't speak willingly.
I bet his voice is all high and squeaky and girly sounding.

Stardust sat quietly in the corner, thinking about something. As usual, she didn't give a heck as to what the SeeDs behind her were discussing. She refused to be a part of that senseless conversation.
What if the Headmistress give this case to another party?
A chill ran down her spine, if that were to happen, she was willing to resign as a SeeD mercenary and personally hunt down Adel. Although the chance was slim, she couldn't help but think about it. They lost a member, crashed an airship, fell into a trap and even lost the gem in the process.
She looked at her injured hand. It didn't hurt but the wounds were visible. She closed her fist and bit her lip.

Al~
A tall blond man came walking up from the back of the helicopter. His greens eyes looked around blankly for a moment.
"Rayven?" he asked softly resting one of his hands on the wall.
"Yeah, I'm here Justice" Rayven called as she climbed onto the helicopter.
"Everyone this is my brother Justice, I would introduce you all but it seems I haven’t caught any of your names" Rayven said as she strode across the helicopter, helping her brother to a seat.

Sym stared at the others as they boarded the chopper, her face an expressionless mask, noting that almost all of them wore the same marks of failure and regret. She felt the same thing, too, but kept it inside like almost everything else. Sym had learned that trick a long time ago, when revealing any weakness to her mother would have cost Sym her life. At least some things she'd learned had been worth keeping.
Hey boy, it's time to go back. Thanks for all the help, even if we didn't find anything, Sym told her GF and waited as he returned to the confines of her pendant, becoming a pinpoint of crimson light before disappearing completely. It would have been good to let him stay out, but the woman was afraid there wouldn't be any room for him inside.
Having finished that task, Sym made her way inside the chopper, choosing a seat near the back and as far away from Stardust as possible. After Colum's conversation with her, Stardust would probably appreciate some time alone. That and Sym didn't want to have the woman angry at her.

Tomoe climbed into the aircraft, frowning thoughtfully. Did it really have to get any worse than a failed mission? Any moment now she expected to hear Infinity shrilling at O'Donahue, worsening an already bad day. I have a headache, she thought to herself, sighing softly. She heard Blaze make some crack about Wildwish and decided she needed sleep. She caught Sym near the back of the helicopter, sitting alone. Tomoe made her way over to the solitary girl.
"Sym?" Tomoe asked softly, tentatively. "I hope you don't mind if I sit here." She settled herself beside Sym and realized she couldn't wait to get back to the Garden.
Good old Garden... Tomoe smiled at the thought.

Kyou followed sullenly behind the others, turning one last time to look at the Research Center. It had been Gaiea's idea, really, and she'd been the first to go down. And they hadn't even DONE anything! His fist clenched and unable to restrain himself, he punched the hull of the newcomers' helicopter.
Ignoring everyone, he strode to the back of the aircraft, plopping down on a seat composed of a long pile of blankets.
The pile jerked and Kyou jumped up, startled, eyes watching the blankets closely. His mouth dropped open as a head poked itself out of the far end, gray eyes glaring.
"Gaiea?" he whispered.

Mari~
Rika sauntered over to the helicopter, with one last look around the beach. Wordlessly, she looked away when Kyoui punched the hull, and climbed in after him. She found a seat, which was rather isolated from the group, and sat slowly. Sighing, she felt her hair with one hand, now remembering that she had lost her favorite hairpin to the monster. She normally would not be sad over such trivial things, but her set of pins had been a gift--from her sister. Now one of the only relics from her past was forever lost, to some Hyne-damned beast underwater. A lot of good it did her now.
"That's what I get for being attached to anything," she muttered to herself.
Can't rely on anything or anyone but myself, they'll all leave me one day.
Unaware that she spoke the words aloud, Rika cast a hard gaze around the copter. Not at anyone specifically, but she had a lot on her mind.
"Gaiea?" The whisper from behind her caused her to raise her eyebrows and turn around. She gave a questioning look to Kyoui before laying eyes on the girl near him; her eyes widened slightly.

Sym looked at Tomoe as the woman seated herself, "No problem, I don't mind. So long as no one screams like a banshee again, this trip'll be fine."
That comment wasn't aimed at Tomoe, but Sym hoped to Hyne that the others had heard it. It was one thing to be mad at someone and yell, but it was something completely different to think that those around hadn't heard it before.
Goddess, I just want to sleep. That's why I'm getting so bloody cranky, I need a nap. Sym thought and closed her eyes, hoping to drift off before any arguments started, but was snapped out of her trance by Kyou's voice as it somehow rose above everything else in the chopper. He'd said a name. . . Gaiea? She was here, alive? Please be the truth, don't let this be a cruel joke.
Cautiously, the mage opened one emerald eye and looked back to where the exclamation had come from. Kyou's eyes were wide, almost as if he'd seen a ghost, and to Sym's amazement the pile of blankets he regarded moved. Just under the cloths was what looked like a person's rather wet head which had a face that bore a great resemblance to their missing friend Gaiea, "Is that you? Goddess, I knew you were alive!"

The sound of Gaiea's name suddenly caught her attention. It made her turn around.
Who would've guessed...
She wondered if this was for real or not. All this time, she never gave a thought of Gaiea's survival or even her coming back to Garden with them. She realized that she had underestimated the polyglot.
"...Such a die-hard," mumbled Stardust as she went on with her sulking.

Auria~
Zacke's gaze slowly moved from the ground, up to Stardust. He drew a deep breath.
/Zacke...don't.../
Shut up Iris.
"Stardust, you can make anything sound bad huh?" he said snidely. "What if...like...someone saved a baby from a burning building? Would you grumble about them breaking the door to get inside and call them incompetent for forgetting to grab the cat on the way out?"
/Zacke stop, now./
I'm not finished.
He stood up, a motioned towards the pile of blankets supposedly concealing their lost team member.
"Gaiea is back, and you're calling her a die-hard?! What the hell is your problem?! Do you better yourself by constantly saying how low everyone around you is?"

Okay, they say Terry is always clueless about things like... emotion or anything social for that matter. But standing here and watching Zacke stare daggers at Stardust, he KNEW something chaotic was about to begin.
Terry stood up quickly and went between Stardust and Zacke trying to calm them down with a goofy smile and waving his hands wildly.
[Hey hey! C'mon let's not ruin this good moment with bickering. Let's just be glad we have Gaiea back!] The piece of paper that flew out of his sleeves said.
He looks at Gaiea and smiles. [It's great having you back with us... we were worried sick.] Terry smiles.
Suddenly something caught the corner of Terry's eyes drawing his attention away from the group. Who's that? Someone he didn't recognize was in the room the whole time and Terry didn't notice him. It was a Tall blonde fellow that Rayven seemed to know. Well if she's nice to him, he must be okay. Terry smiles and approaches the stranger.
[Hello! Who are you?] Terry's asked with a questioning face and the paper infront of him, while smiling kindly the whole time.

Rayven looked up at Terry standing in front of her with a blank expression on her face.
"He's blind" she said flatly with a roll of her eyes.
"Have you got a problem with that?" Justice spoke up placing a calming hand on his sister's arm, his blank green eyes staring up at Terry.
