Nirkit lead them along down the alley and across the street. Through the next alley, the chaos of the car crash could be seen. Nirkit stopped and turned left at the sidewalk. "Don't want to go THAT way!" he said loudly over his shoulder. "So who totalled the car anyway?"
"Me." Zacke said from behind the man.
Nirkit laughed. "Was it on purpose or do you just drive like a retard?"
Zacke glared at the young man's back. "Is that really any of your business?"
Nirkit laughed again. "Well sorr-y. Didn't mean to damage your pride, I was only making idle--"
"--could you just shut up and walk?" Zacke cut him off.
Nirkit was quiet for a while. They came to the corner of the street, and crossed. At they stepped onto the opposite curb, Nirkit spoke up again, in as light and conversational tone as ever before. It was as if Zacke's words hadn't effected him at all. "SO, 'fvck you'," Nirkit glanced back at Blaze and snickered. "why the scowl? It's a beautiful afternoon here in Esthar, I would think you'd have those pretty lips curled up into a smile!!"
Zacke resisted the urge to sigh.

"Why the scowl and no smile you ask?" Blaze repeated Nirkit's question, "Because I only smile after I've done a nice, gorey murder and the fresh blood of the corpse oozes down my arms. It's a nice feeling, it is. I could only imagine how it feel with your blood. Now move."

The young man laughed and spoke over his shoulder. "So you're the fiesty type--"
Zacke stepped on the back of his heel, cutting him off. Nirkit let out a growl. "OUCH!!" He looked pointedly at Zacke.
Zacke grinned fakely. "Keep a quicker pace."
Nirkit shook his head and walked on. "You know I'm kinda doing you guys a favor here. You should be a little more polite to your guide."

Blaze held back from the group, infuriated that Zacke was able to cause Nirkit pain, while she had held her temper.
"You should be a little more polite to your guide." Nirkit drawled.
"I think we can act however we want with you guide, because I really don't see a use for you anymore." Blaze snapped and motioned towards a team of blaring police cars that were zooming down the street a few blocks down.
"Looks like our little friends have been caught juuuust as I suspected. I'm assuming Erple Way is in that direction?" Blaze asked Nirkit.

Nirkit's eyes widened as he looked in the direction Blaze pointed. He stumbled to the side a few steps as Zacke's shoulder slammed into his own. "C'mon." the blonde-haired man said over his shoulder to the rest of the SeeDs, following Blaze toward the building.
"Hey!! I'm coming too!! I can't miss this!!" Nirkit shouted, stepping forward.

"Hey!! I'm coming too!! I can't miss this!!" Nirkit shouted excitedly. Blaze let out a very audible sigh.
"The only way I will willingly let you come, you little twit, is if you know your way inside that building." She pointed to a building swarming with police on the outside as they arrived at Erple Way.
"We need to get inside... But how?" She asked Nirkit. "You'd better know or I'll just barge in through the front."

"At this point, that seems like the best solution. Do you think the police will notice a couple extra bodies milling around? There's already a huge crowd," Gaiea gestured toward the excited mob forming.
"But we don't have much time to decide. The others could be in serious trouble."
Rather interesting that the police would be hear so quickly...The sirens just started. Gaiea smiled wryly at the cars. So the mole IS in their group.

Nirkit's grin faded slightly. "Umm...no, never been in there. But I do know it's the Estharian Ambassadors lab!"
"At this point, that seems like the best solution. Do you think the police will notice a couple extra bodies milling around? There's already a huge crowd," Gaiea gestured toward the excited mob forming." Gaiea replied to Blaze. "But we don't have much time to decide. The others could be in serious trouble."
Zacke nodded. "Good point." he took Dizzy from its place around his neck and clutched a steel bar in each hand tightly. "Make sure your GF's are junctioned. And Nirkit," he turned.
Nirkit seemed to perk up a bit. "S'up??"
"I don't want your...Hell whatever gang involved in this, so go back to your boss."
"C'mon?! Just let me wait out here--"
Zacke growled. "WHATEVER JUST DON'T GET IN THE WAY!!" He turned and strode straight for the crowed behind Blaze and Gaeia

Blaze nodded at Gaeia's suggestion and pushed in through the crowd behind her.
"C'mon?! Just let me wait out here--" Nirkit begged Zacke.
"WHATEVER JUST DON'T GET IN THE WAY!!" Zacke yelled impatiently.
"Listen Nitpick or Nitwit or whatever the hell your name is," Blaze snapped when Nirkit didn't seem to leave, "We. Don't. Need. You. Anymore. You leave now. Understand?" She motioned for him to leave them as if she were shooing away a dog.
"No admission past this point." An Estharian policeman yelled above the commotion when they had gotten close enough to the entrance. Blaze cracked her knuckles.
"I say we force our way in." She grinned evilly

"I say we force our way in." Blaze cracked her knuckles with a dark grin on her face.
Tomoe glanced around the gathered crowd, feeling very conscious of herself. They were in the middle of a very large group of Estharians, and she moved closer to Blaze, one hand moving to the handle of her sword. She didn't reach the hilt of her blade when suddenly she was enveloped in darkness and a hand was clapped over her mouth. She stumbled back, jabbing an elbow into someone's gut. There was a grunt and someone grabbed her around the waist.
"Shh!" hissed a voice in her ear. "Don't let anyone see your face, you dork!"

"I say we force our way in."
At the sound of cracking knuckles, Gaiea held up a hand to hold Blaze back, before surveying the crowd who was doing their damndest to make the policemen work hard to keep them back.
"Let's move," she suddenly hissed, as the policemen at their end turned to talk to one of the others. Quickly, she plastered herself to the wall and slid around the corner of the gate.
Hopefully, she hadn't been seen...

"Let's move," Gaiea hissed and dissapeared around the corner of the gate. Blaze blinked. Those stupid estharian guards didn't notice her? She looked back and was surprised to see that Wolfe had caught up.
"Hide Tomoe. Cover her or... something." Blaze told Wolfe before taking a deep breath and lunging after Gaiea.
"HEY!!!" an estharian policeman yelled and pointed directly at Blaze.

A piercing cry suddenly rattled the eardrums of everyone within a one mile radius. Maniacal laughter followed. The laughter died down as the sky took on a brilliant shade of orange. Screams and shouts filled the air as millions of lokusts swept down from the sky, their numbers so massive it was as if a dark wave was crashing down from the skies.
Zacke thrashed his arms about wildly, trying to fight off the lokusts. Screams of pain filled the air as the bugs ate away at the Estharians. Strangely enough they weren't really attacking he himself. He squinted his eyes and stumbled forward.
What the fuck?! He looked around, panicked. He stumbled backward and bumped into someone. He hurriedly stepped away from the Estharian.
Then as quickly as they had come, they left. Disappeared into thin air. The sky regained its normal shade and Estharians littered the street. More than half were still alive, but they stumbled around awkwardly, coughing up blood.
His eyes fell on Nirkit, standing at the entrance to the lab, grinning from ear to ear. The young man snickered and in one quick motion swung the door open. "You can thank me later, but for now you'd better finish your mission!!" he shouted. "More police will be here in minutes and I can't use that GF again for days!!"
The SeeDs moved in.
