Jun smirked, which Polaris thought was rather odd, as Jun struck her as entirely to good-tempered to smirk. Then again, Polaris had known Jun for a full two days, at most, and Polaris wasn't about to start thinking she knew the girl.
And Gone was lying on the floor, staring up at her like a smiling idiot. And Stardust and Xu were going nuts, and the new guy in the body armor was smiling to himself like this was a comedy movie he was enjoying.

And once again, Polaris felt the inclination to play the mother. Or peacemaker. Or something that involved preventing Gone Vacc from being maimed by the almighty deadly duo known as Sanaku & Infinity.
"Okay, Gone, up you get." Polaris strode up beside Jun and grabbed a fistful of Gone's shirt, hauling him to his feet. "You've already made Xu huffy." Of course, at her comment, Xu looked even more pissed, but Polaris chose to ignore the death glare. She gave Gone a smile made of sugar and arsenic. "Let's save the incredibly kinky S&M games with Blaze and Stardust when we're all on the ship, yes? I hardly believe that the Headmistress' office is the perfect place for such perversion."
She shifted her gaze from Gone and met Xu's eyes.
"Blaze had a question about the location of the Ruby, Headmistress, before Gone so kindly and lovingly interrupted her. Would you please answer it so we can get out of your hair like you so dearly wish us to be?"
