Hadrian bowed his head and scratched the side of his forehead. He didn't know how much gils Balamb Garden had provided for them but he was guessing the Garden should cover all of their financial expenses. They should. That was how they do it in Trabia.
Looking at his teammates, he returned his gaze to the counter. "Maybe we should wait till the last bidder has named his price. THEN we speak up, charge it all to Garden..." Hadrian looked at the person beside him.

Sho frowned. These people were animals! And the crazy Shumi was enjoying the attention he was getting. At this rate, they'd never get a single room.
"Maybe we should wait till the last bidder has named his price. THEN we speak up, charge it all to Garden..." Technogeek muttered.
Sho glanced around at his team. Then he shrugged, and walked past the bidders, right in front of the Shumi, and he smiled his most winning smile.
"I'd like all of the vacant rooms you have, please!" he said cheerfully. "Will 150 thousand gil be enough for them?"

"What I'm afraid of is... how are we supposed to scrape out of this alive? Look at the huge number of SeeDs man. The ratio's like three SeeDs to one of us...we gotta create a diversion cos a direct conflict means bad news for us. You think?" Jamie said worriedly.
Deo sat up and was silent for a moment. "Just don't think about it. We'll figure something out," he finally said, although he couldn't look at Jamie. He didn't even try to hide the worried tinge in his own voice.
The elevator quietly dinged open and Deo waited for Jamie to get out of the elevator before following her. He squinted around the bustling village and saw no trace of blue, pink or red hair.
"Where the hell did they go? You think the elder's hut?" he asked Jamie.

Jaime couldn't miss the heaviness of Deo's tone. For a while they were silent until the elevator reached ground floor.
"Where the hell did they go? You think the elder's hut?" he asked Jamie when they saw neither the SeeDs or Van around.
"I don't know... maybe we can try looking there?" She injected some forced cheer into her voice. "Deo I take back what I said just now.. They may be a large group of SeeDs, but then we can always sneak by them since there's only three of us. Ever heard of speed in small numbers?"

Rayden was about to reply Hadrian's suggestion when Sho suddenly bidded 150,000 gil for all the rooms.
He whistled softly.
"So that's how Garden blows it budget on the Trinity Mission. Is it any wonder we're on the verge of getting pay cuts?" He said in a low voice to Hadrian.

Just stirring in a bit o' trouble, because you know how our SeeDs like things dysfunctional!! Just so everyone's not standing around like a bunch of idiots...
Polaris blinked at Sho, who was conversing cheerfully with the Shumi and allowing the Innkeeper to milk him dry. She smiled a little bit at that; he may be a rich kid (because Hyne knows that hair job couldn't be done cheaply), but he was a good kind of rich kid. And at least he had gotten them enough rooms so that they wouldn't be squashed together in one place like sardines.
Out of the corner of her eye, Polaris saw the skinny man who had bid six thousand start to raise his hand to up the ante. Reaching out, she grasped his bony wrist and twisted it, enough to make the man wince, but not enough to cause a commotion. Eyes watering, he looked back at her. She regarded him coolly.
"I really apologize, but we need those rooms," she said softly. "So I'd appreciate it if you stopped bidding." She smiled, a smile of honey on razorblades. "Thank you." She released him and returned her attention to Sho, who was good-naturedly negotiating with the Shumi.
And then she felt a hand on her back, moving smoothly down.
"I'll stop bidding if you do something for me, sweets." Yup, no mistaking that acrid monster breath.

Blaze stared at Sho as if he had just turned into a giant bite bug.
"Are you trying to make us broke??!?!" Blaze practically exploded, "Xu is NOT going to pay for that, and the money sure as hell isn't coming from ME. and don't even THINK--"
"SOLD!!!!!!" The shumi yelled. A huge wave of protest broke over the crowd and they started shooting filthy looks at Sho. They started to push the seeDs out of the hotel, obviously not knowing they were seeDs.

Sho frowned as he was pushed back the crowd. "Hey, I just bought the rooms!!" he protested, fighting his way through the crowd. He managed to push past most of them but was immediately attacked by another wave.
It was pissing him off.
"EVERYONE GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM US!!!!!!" he bellowed.

Deo flashed a grin back at Jamie, "Yea, let's do this," he said, "I've got smoke bombs, losers won't even know what hit 'em."
It was extremely easy to pick out the elder's hut since there were video cameras and media surrounding it. Deo and Jamie easily blended in with all the journalists who were pushing and shoving so they could get to the front.
"They can't be in there! It's a madhouse!" Deo yelled as Jamie drifted farther away from him in the crowd of moving bodies.
"Hey- Don't get lost!!" Deo reached out and tried to grab Jamie's hand to keep them from getting separated but he missed and the force of the people drove them apart.
Just then, the door swung open and Arland stepped out.

A hundreds of flashes coming from the media cameras shot towards Arland as he stepped out of the hunt. The governor was frowning a little but quickly smiled jovially at the sight of the people around. There were both newscasters and tourists in the crowd. Arland's bodyguards had to stand no farther than six inches around him just to be able to walk across the sea of people.
Seemed like a lot of news casters kept poking their microphones at him.
"Any word from the Shumi Elder?"
"Did they acquiesce?"
"What's the status of the proposition?"
All of which the Governor had only one answer. He was going to give another day for the Shumis to change their minds. The noise around the governor heightened.
Deo and Jaime There were too many people around the Elder's hut for Governor Arland to notice you. Deciding to back out of the hut and look somewhere else, you saw another commotion at a nearby Inn--though not as chaotic as the one going on in the hut anyway--a few yards away from you. There, you spot the SeeDs at the entrance. They were fighting their way to the small crowd. They looked like activists of a movement or somewhere along that lines.
Suddenly, someone jumped from behind you and quickly squeezed the both of you.
"There you are!" Vanesse exclaimed, looking a bit anxious. Pulling back from them, she continued. "I'm sorry I went on ahead, but there's our target." She looked to the direction of the Inn. "They're waiting to meet with the Elder."

SeeDs
The crowd inside the Inn continued to push you away. All of you knew very well that you couldn't give away the fact that you're a SeeD since you didn't want attention from the media.
Across several yards away from the Inn, there was another commotion as well. Definitely much more chaotic than the aggressive customers on the Inn. You also noticed that a lot of tourists had been looking at your Inn and the Elder's hut--obviously because of the blatant aggression in both areas.

Stardust was pissed at how everything was starting to look like a circus. "What are you looking at!?" she spat at the nearest passersby who were laughing at the scene. Frowning back at the crowd in front of them she was surprised when one of the people shoved her, making her step backwards. Blinking, her eyebrows met and her blood instantly boiled. It didn't really bother her much that the people were being sore losers, however, after this...
Damn lowlifes....Screw camping here for tonight! They were going to get a room. "GET OUT of the WAY!!" She elbowed the guy who pushed her in the stomach and kicked him aside, then did the same thing on the next person. Someone tried to attack her and she quickly evaded coming back with a retaliation. She kicked several more people out of the way. There was no doubt about it, the crowd was heating and if this continued, there was going to be an all out brawl.

Averting his eyes from the Elder's hut to the crowd in front of the Inn, Hadrian's nonchalant composure quickly melted away when he saw what Stardust had just did. They shouldn't attract ANY attention at all and this was they were doing. Standing up straight, he blurted out, brows furrowing, "Are you f*cking insane?"

Sho stared at Psychochick. He couldn't quite believe it.
She was beating up civilians.
Somewhere beside him, Sho dimly heard, above the pushing and shoving of the people, Hadrian shouting at her, but Sho was beyond pissed off to really understand what the hell he was saying.
He moved forward with the ferocity and grace of a tiger that had found its prey, towards Stardust, who was currently kicking a young man with curly brown hair out of her way, annoyance in her eyes. Which was nothing compared to the incompassable fury in Sho's face.
He moved up in front of her just as she shoved another civilian out of the way and moved his arms around hers, catching her in a full Nelson and dragging her away from the tide of the crowd. He kept her in the submission hold, aware that she was probably spitting and yowling like a cat, and even when they toppled to the ground, separated from their fellow SeeDs, and also out of the way of the rushing crowd. Sho roared in her ear, a feral sound.
"You crazy, bipolar bitch...you don't fucking attack civilians!!!!"
He was beyond furious at her, and would've readily beat her to the ground had a slim hand landed on his shoulder in a grip of steel.

The crowd pushed up against her, arms and legs and limbs and torsos, and her petite size couldn't quite fight against the tide of bodies. Polaris instead settled for quiet compliance, allowing the crowd to carry her as she moved to one side, to escape the bodies. She heard a commotion in front of her, louder than the crowd, saw glimpses of pink, blue and red, and knew immediately who they were. She moved in their direction, heard the redhead shout at Stardust, and then a sudden flash of blue and white met pink and white, and Stardust and Sho disappeared from view.
The crowd began to get even angrier, and Polaris winced when an elbow met the back of her head. Slightly dizzy, she nevertheless fought her way past the people, catching up to the redheaded Hadrian and pushing him away from the rest of the crowd. Polaris knew that he probably wasn't sure who the hell was suddenly pushing him, and he surely would retailiate. She'd worry about that later.
With a shove she managed to push Hadrian out of the way of the crowd filing out of the Inn, and stumbled out after him from the mass of bodies. With a start Polaris realized that they had landed just beside Sho and Stardust, and that Stardust was currently in a sort of stranglehold, and Sho was ready to kick her ass. Polaris reached out, grabbed Sho's shoulder, and squeezed it tightly. His head shot up, his angry glare moving away from Stardust to her. She met his eyes squarely.
"Miyavi." She said his name calmly, seemingly unruffled by the current situation. "Get off Infinity and help me find the others."
He growled, his fury beyond words. But at least his stranglehold on Stardust eased up. With a sigh, Polaris turned towards Hadrian.
"Sorry for pushing you. But I got you out, didn't I?"
She felt weary, and she was sure there was going to be a knot in the back her head due to that blow she had recieved earlier.
