Hadrian was surprised when he saw Rayden alive. That was a good thing. He could see their three "supervisors" getting to their feet as well.
"You're D'arcell, right?" Seifer groaned, checking if he crushed the unconcious lady underneath him. Seeing that she was still okay, he pushed himself up. "You crow too much," the blonde ex-knight spat. Hadrian frowned.
"Everyone alright? We should prolly go check on the girls."
Quistis passed Rayden and gave him a disapproving look. She headed towards Stella to check her condition. "We don't have time to check on the others. We need to get back to the lobby and get treated."
"I'm calling Squall," Selphie announced. "The three of you!" she called out to Deo, Jax, and Sho. "Pick yourself up already. We're going to the lobby." She pressed the cellphone to her ear. "Hello, Sq--Commander Leonhart?! Where are you? What's your status? You did acquire the sword, am I right??" she asked consecutively.
Shaking his head, Hadrian went to follow Quistis. She walked beside Seifer who was carrying Stella.

His eyes were really itchy. The debris from the explosion somehow managed to burrow their way into the cornea of his eyes, which were now beginning to swell.
""The three of you! Pick yourself up already. We're going to the lobby."
Still rubbing his eyes furiously, Jax pushed himself off the floor and took one good look around him. Apart from Stella, it seemed that everyone was fine---healthwise at least.
Meanwhile, Instructor Tilmitt was practically shouting into her cellphone, clutching it so close to her mouth it looked like she was about to eat it.
"----What's your status? You did acquire the sword, am I right??" she asked consecutively.
"W-wait-wait." Jax cut in. "They got the Trinity Sword?" He shrugged casually. "Gotta admit I'm pretty impressed. Though it makes you wonder then what the hell we were doing down here in the first place..."

"We're here because we're one hundred percent, jacked up, grade-A batshit crazy," Sho said mildly, bruised and battered and halfway to dying and feeling just a bit tired from it all. There really wasn't much else to say--- the other half of the team had been successful in their mission and all Sho's team had managed to do was get into a gang war, get shot at, thrown into a freaky Alice-in-fucking-Wonderland illusion, and blown up at by a freak child.
And people actually volunteered to be SeeDs? For this shit? Sho wondered if he fell down stairs as a child and smacked his head, because he had no idea why he ever wanted to sign up for this kind of thing. He sighed silently and shook his head, bright blue hair a mess, clothes tattered and body screaming from exhaustion and pain. "We'd better get going," he continued tiredly, scratching the back of his head.
"Best thing you've said this whole night," Seifer grouched, cracking his neck.
