"It's Reese's stupid cat thing." Blaze retorted, looking into Hadrian's camcorder, "and I don't feel like sitting. I can stand if I want."
Hadrian was so obsessed with his stupid camcorder it made Blaze just wanted to throw it on the floor and stomp on it to watch his male ego deflate. But it did make a laugh burst forth from her mouth at the expression on Zacke's face in miniature screen. Blaze briefly wondered where Zacke was, he was taking a really long time to change his clothes. He'd probably done the smart thing and decided not to return to the ball. If this candle lighting ceremony didn't start soon, Blaze was peacing out as well.
Besides, she had been formulating a much bigger Stardust revenge-plan in her head that was much more important than the ball. She had to inform Zacke of it, if the plan could work.
"hey Hadrian... can you hack into people's e-mail accounts and pretend to be them and send out e-mails under their names? You know maybe you can hack into someone's account for me instead of buying me something."

"Yuck no!" Rayden's face twisted beyond recognition at the mental image of feasting on the monsters perishing under his weapons. "How can you even suggest that? Has that kind of thought ever crossed your mind I wonder!" He grinned goodnaturedly at Gemma. "And you may laugh or jeer at my choice of weapons...but you can't miss the logic. If I have to depend my life on my weapons, I'd rather choose something I've learnt to use ever since I was still a wee little toddler." He shrugged. "They've never failed me before."
The crowd had thinned out a little, not that it was surprising as many of the couples had been dancing since the night began. They weren't in danger of bumping into anyone, the floor being less cramped now and Rayden gently eased back a little offering a little more space between them.
"Oh I think I see your brother." He said, spotting Jax with Jaime on a spot not far away from the dancefloor. "I didn't know he's that close with the Opps people."

"I wonder when the candle lighting ceremony starts." Jun mused aloud, leaning a little closer towards Lawric as a couple glided past them to get to their tables. In fact many couples were doing that, creating several holes in what had been a jam-packed space just minutes ago, tired of moving on their feet all night long. Her own feet were aching slightly, and she tried shifting her weight from one to the other which did nothing to help. "It's funny, how one can have endless stamina on the battle field, but when faced with a social event like this tire so easily."

" Man, you will not believe how packed it is tonight!" Jax exclaimed as he led Jaime to the center of the dance floor. Actually, he was taking her on a ridiculous detour, circling back several times and winding around in loop, naturally to avoid running into nothing, completely aware of how ludicrous this whole thing was. In fact, when exactly did he become this “ghost-whisperer person…?” Well it was going to be a hard act to keep up….but might as well give it a go.
“Oh! Excuse me sir! " he exclaimed, taking a huge side step and pulling Jaime aside as well. Staring into space with great consternation, he gravely said, "That was Gaius Renoldia. Former headmaster of Garden 3 decades ago.” Still in a “trance”, he murmured, “Hyne he’s kept himself rather chubby hasn’t he?”
“Anyways, “ he turned towards Jaime quickly and smiled, “you still up for that dance?”

"Done." Hadrian quickly replied as soon as Blaze finished her sentence. There was no thinking involved in that reply. Anything to settle the favor he had with her, without involving ANY gil, he was up for it.
He let out a slight cackle at the camcorder then swung his eyes to Blaze. "Why are you so mean?" he asked insincerely. Ruining someone's reputation through hacking was like tying a person on the back of a car and dragging him around the neighborhood. It was demeaning. It may not look that serious to a spectator, but it was grave. Damn Blaze, her way of revenge was way slicker than what he was expecting from her.
Shaking his head, he continued, "Tell me more about this plan of yours." He was grinning.

Vanesse shook her head at Saffron. The bartender was pretty grumpy. It was then that she saw Deo sit a few chairs away from them. Her bright face brightened even more.
"Hey, that's my friend." It was cool how Deo quickly caught the bartender's attention the moment he sat in the bar. "DEO!!" Vanesse shouted at him.
"Come on," she motioned to Saffron as she strode towards Deo. Patting Deo roughly on the back, Vanesse sat beside him. "Hey, Deo. Why did you leave Brooke alone?? Are you here to get some bread too?"
