A Tribute to Rica

While browsing around all over this little fanart section, one truly disturbing thing occurred to me: MOST OF RICA'S OLD-SKOOL WORKS OF ART AREN'T EVEN FEATURED! Upon realizing this, I thought to myself, "This can't be!! What a tragedy!" And that's when I decided to take my scanner, my personal "Rica art" collection, and FATE ITSELF into my own hands. So, without further ado, I give you... *clears throat and gestures dramatically* THE REST OF RICA'S GLORIOUS TRINITY PIECES!!

XD Nah but seriously guys, this section just isn't complete without some of this stuff! If Trinity had an artbook, our wonderfully talented Rica would most assuredly be its author. ^_^

XD I LOVE Jun's hardcore "omfgIcan'tbelieveI'mhere >|" scowl. actually, all of their expressions are very in-character. Blaze seems to have progressed beyond anger and is now simply bored XD Zacke is almost childlike in his unawareness, Stardust is typically glare-y, and Reese is almost facing away from everyone completely. ^_^

I still catch myself pulling this one out just to look at it. Rica, even if I had your talent at drawing, I don't think even I myself could capture the "shojo" essences of Zacke and Reese quite the way you have captured them in this picture. When I look at it I feel like I'm seeing what's in my mind. It's honestly one of my most cherished possessions. ^_^

I have an actual vinyl sketchbook I keep all my sketches in (well, the ones that don't get thrown away, anyway... haha) and all of the work you've done for Trin/Wake is in there as well. call me a nostalgic fool if you want, but those drawings of yours mean a lot to me they're actually really inspiring, too.

oh and I gotta comment I feel the exact same way as Lex about how Ani is able to capture the essence of our charries so perfectly. When she draws Blaze it looks EXACTLY how I'd want Blaze to be if she were an anime character. The expressions and outfits and hair and everything are so DEAD ON XD
