Signe, Lawric and Able are still unconcious in the cold, dark room the Opposition are sittting in. As you wonder where you are, you hear the click of a lock opening and none other than Arland himself steps in. He is accompanied by the creepy the little girl, who has an unnatural smile fixated upon her scary face.
You immediately reach for your weapons, only to find them missing. Arland smirks.
"You're the most pathetic bunch of anti-government brats I've ever come across," he sneers, looking over Jamie, Vanesse and finally Deo, who is snoring. Arland scowls.
"Listen, I'm feeling generous today. I don't know who the hell you guys think you are but I need a favor done, and I'll let you keep your lives if you do it for me. There's a ruby hidden in Shumi Village, which is where we're heading right now. Get it and give it to me within three days. IThat's all there is to it. There is no need to know why I want this ruby.
"I know you're all capable of fighting, so this should be no problem for you. Just to make sure you won't abandon the mission, half of you will get the ruby and the other half will stay here as hostages. Fail, and those that stay with me will die." Arland smirks confidently and the girl besides him lets out a horrifying giggle. You wonder what the heck she is.
"Decide which of you will go and which of you will stay, and I will give you more information on what you need to do," Arland says and stands still, waiting for you to decide amongst yourself.
