He wears the jacket pictured below over his shirt with one of the sleeves always rolled up to his elbow.

Distinguishing marks (scars, piercings, tattoos, etc.): Both of Deo’s arms are heavily covered in colorful tattoos. They are mostly chemical equations and recepies for bomb making that he puts there so he won’t forget them. Deo knows how to do homemade tattoos, so he usually just tattoos the equations and stuff on his own arms XD Deo tried to make Vanesse tattoo him before but she would alway get scared she was going to hurt deo XD
He also has those flat metal rings on the tips of his thumb and forefinger that he uses to light his bombs.
Personality
Star Sign: Sagittarius
Personality: Academically speaking, Deo is smart, almost scarily so. He has an extremely high IQ and can figure out almost any math or science problem handed to him in a couple of seconds. However, because he is idle, lazy, and sleeping most of the time he not only gives off the impression that he’s not smart, people who don’t know him well think he’s downright stupid. His intellect is only shown in short, intense flashes; then as soon as it’s shown, it’s gone again and he’s back to being inattentive and laid-back. He gets distracted very easily and completely loses track of what he was supposed to be doing. He’s very unproductive with his time.
Deo’s carelessness and tendency to slack off and zone out on assignments are very aggravating to other people even though he’s not a deliberately irritating person. He especially pisses off authority figures because he doesn’t like the idea of having to live his life in a fixed or controlled environment because he likes doing what he likes to do, which is usually the opposite of what he’s told. He lacks common sense. About the only time he concentrates and retains focus for over ten minutes is when he plays cards. There are also rare cases when he is very motivated about something. Then he will work his mind constantly until he does it/figures it out.
Deo is also very messy, disorganized and sloppy and a hardcore procrastinator. His shoes are always untied and his hair is always sticking out. He rarely expresses any extreme emotion (yelling, screaming, crying, shock) unless he is under a lot of stress. Inside he is a very rational and level-headed. You'll rarely find him in the middle of a fight or argument.
History:
Deo was 5 when his sister, Blaze was born. Their mother was bipolar and would care for them properly when she was happy, but during the bouts where she would sink into severe depression Deo was forced to take care himself and Blaze. As a result, Deo and Blaze were very close. Deo's nickname came about because when Blaze began to speak she couldn't pronounce his name correctly and would always say "deo" until the name eventually stuck.
Deo's mother and father were constantly on a rocky relationship and eventually divorced when he was 13. Deo went with his mother and Blaze stayed with their father. He never saw either of them again, and when he was 16 he recieved a letter stating that Blaze had been murdered by a dotNA that she had stolen money from. This caused the first wave of hated towards Adel for Deo.
Deo's mom continued to sink even further into depression and began to develop mental problems so she wouldn't even recognize Deo. It became too dangerous to live at home so he dropped out of school (which he thought was a waste of time anyway) and ran away from home at 16. He lived off gambling for a couple years and found he made a very good living out of it so he took it to a higher level at the dangerous Deling casinos (which are dotNA owned, it makes them a lot of money!).
Here he met a fellow gambler named Mason and the two became best friends. With Deo's intellect and Mason's cunning, they became a team of professional scammers and con men, swindling all the money out of rich Deling citizens and severely hurting dotNA's income. Age 18- 21 were the best years of Deo's life. He was rich and girls actually liked him (it was only 'cause of the money of course XD).
Of course, good things must come to an end. Deo and Mason were caught scamming and became wanted men in Deling. They went into hiding and were banned from all Deling casinos. Since that was their only source of income, their money ran dry fast. Tensions were high in their friendship, Mason was so bitter at their loss of fame and fortune he constantly blamed Deo for being caught. Deo was paranoid that Mason was devising plans to turn Deo into the dotNA to gather the reward money, and he was right to be paranoid!
Mason clued in the dotNA on where their hideout was and the dotNA were going to bust in there and arrest Deo while Mason was hiding away from harm. Unfortunately for Mason, Deo had discovered this plan and he fled the hideout on the day the dotNA were to arrive.
Mason, watching from afar and thinking Deo was still in there, grew increasing worried and guilty as the dotNA grew near. At the last moment he ran back and snuck in through the back entrance to tell Deo to escape and that he was really sorry for setting up his friend. He was shocked to discover Deo was not there. The dotNA arrived and busted down the entrance, surrounding Mason. They arrested him and thought he was Deo. Deo never saw Mason again and now he really, really hated Adel and her dotNA followers.
During age 21-22, Deo dedicated his life to bombing up Deling areas owned by dotNA and trying to find Mason. He had a high ransom on his head, "the bombing bandit." XD He was never caught, but things were getting to dangerous so Deo had to move out of Deling. He moved to (Ahh totally forgot the city where the Opps live X____X) and found a flier for an Opposition of Oppression meeting. It excited him and he decided to go, he's been with the Opps ever since and you know the rest XD!
Moral standards: Since Deo hates authority, it is only reasonable that he despises the type of tyranny that Adel runs. He believes that people should be free to choose their own paths. He looks down upon people who blindly take orders because he believes it shows that they have no mind of their own.
Goals: To win the “Rinoa” card because he thinks Rinoa is hot. XD

Weapon Description/ picture: Deo uses his own handmade array of miniature bombs/grenades/dynamite that he carries around in his pockets or in a sack tied to the side of his belt. His thumb and index fingers have wide, flat metal rings around the tips that he uses as a flint to light the bombs. His explosives are extremely powerful, but the major drawback is that he can run out of them in battle- leaving him defenseless.
Weapon History: Deo got into chemistry when he was 13 and liked to combine elements to make things KABOOM so he began experimenting and making all kinds of explosives ranging from fireworks to smoke bombs to fake ones that explode only confetti. You don’t want to be around Deo when he’s experimenting though because he has a tendency to mess up and catch something on fire or make a room smell bad for weeks. Experimenting is also why his pet iguana is missing half a tail
Limit Breaks (maximum 2):
Heart Grenade- Deo fuses his magic power into his mini- bombs, making them explode more powerfully than they usually do, making them do a huge amount of non-elemental damage on a wider range of enemies. It’s like turning a needle into a sword.
Mix- It's basically the exact same limit break that Rikku has. Deo just mixes together his explosives with his items and can create some really powerful mixes both restorative and destructive.

Guardian Force name/appearance: Drakken (Deo calls him Drake) Drake is a silver, blade encrusted reptile with yellow eyes and is as big as a T-Rexaur. Basically, He looks like a big, scary death machine and he likes to roar a lot when summoned to scare enemies.

Guardian Force’s attack: “Safeguard massacre” When summoned, Drakken immediately jumps out and does his best to butcher any enemy in his path while protecting the person on the team with the lowest HP. He will stay summoned until the person he is protecting either regains their White HP or gets KO’d.
Guardian Force’s personality:Drake has rough, growling voice and doesn't understand much English, usually the only thing he talks about is wanting to eat.

He saw her as some control freak who wants to take over people’s lives, when he thinks everyone should be free to do what they want.

Black just because he wears a lot of it.
Navy Blue is Deo’s second color because it is a strict color that represents authority and reliability. The police, naval officers, and soldiers all wear this color. Deo also wears this color a lot, which is kind of like defying authority in itself because it takes away the significance of the color on important people.
Green is Deo’s third color because it is a relaxing color that causes a reaction opposite to red. It related to Deo because he’s never stressed and always takes things slowly and steadily. It’s also related to money and gambling, which Deo lives for.

Deo SUCKS with the ladies. He can't relate to them, like he can't relate with most people. His relationships mostly include drunken hook-ups. But when he was rolling in dough during his Deling city days, the ladies loved him XD He was too preoccupied to notice they only liked his money.

He has reoccuring dreams that the dotNA catch him and put him in a cell and force him to read and analyze poetry.
