In every worse situation, Vanesse always tries to look at the upside of it. It takes a lot of effort to bring her spirit down seeing as to how she often tries to believe in herself and even in others no matter how ridiculously hopeless the situation is. She believes that there are more important things to do than quarreling with someone. She loves to laugh and sometimes cracks jokes. Though she’s far from being timid, Van can be very gullible at times. She is passive and any sly people can take advantage of her. But despite of her passive nature, she’s not someone who can be bullied physically by anybody. She does know how to fight.
She’s fond of arts too. She’s your average wanna-be illustrator. If she didn’t choose to be a member of Opps and support Balamb, you would find her in a college taking Arts.
Morals:
“There is difference between fighting for yourself and fighting for others.” She always tries to put the others first before herself. The reason she’s doing what she does is to be able to make a difference in the world. She doesn’t want to leave the world without making a mark on it. LOL she’s pretty patriotic.

Goals: To carry out her mother and her will to aid Garden in the war. Her goal is to liberate Dollet, Timber, other oppressed cities, and bring about the death of Adel.

Salamin~ Vanesse clutches her twin boomerangs behind her and throws them towards the enemy. The boomerangs then dash to the target and form a wing-shaped crisscross that reflects enemy assaults in one turn all the while inflicts a heavy damage of her own to them.

Catapult- (Ideal when surrounded by enemies) At the sound of Vanesse’s voice, the griffin will soar down the sky and heavily slams in front of her acting as a temporary barrier. Parige then floats above them and waves its great wings creating a strong gust of cyclone that catapults enemy to the air, delivering some major damage.
