Oh god, Colum groaned inwardly as he felt the joystick starting to vibrate wildly out of control. "Uhh...guys? There's some serious shiiiiiii-" He was starting to have difficulty controlling the Deathstrike, as the massive dragonesque airship started spiralling dangerously out of control.
"People! We're going to have to bail out!" Colum shouted, "There's something seriously wrong with the Deathstrike! I'll contact Ground Control asap"
He was annoyed. Someone had obviously tampered with the wires inside the joystick panels.
Tearing open the control box beneath the joystick, Colum could see the fuse box and the wires that had been tampered with.
"Kyou! Can you fix this?" Colum asked frantically.

Kyoui stumbled as the airship jerked in midair and his head shot up as he heard the sharp cries of the others. "Colum," he growled and made for the elevator to the cockpit.
Even before it latched at the top, Kyou was off and running towards the pilot seat where Colum was desperately trying to remain in control. "Kyou! Can you fix this?"
"I thought you were a good pilot," the orange-haired boy snapped, even as he dove for the joystick box. Bracing himself against the chairs, he scanned the jumble of wires and narrowed his eyes. "This isn't accidental. These two wires," he pointed at a green one and a yellow one," were cut. I need something to fuse them back together, something that will conduct electricity!" His eyes met Gaiea's, before moving to the barrette in her hair. Without asking permission, he leapt up and snatched it out, taking a few hairs with him.
She gritted her teeth and held a hand to the side of her head. "This better work, asshole, or you will be sorry you did that."
"Oh shove it!" he snarled, jamming the metal barrette into the fuse box. Biting his lip, he cursed as the plane jerked once more and his head hit the metal fuse box.
Gaiea clutched at the side of her seat, eyes wide as she stared at the fast approaching ocean. I feel like I'm on a fucking roller coaster, she thought, stomach rolling. "C'mon, Cat Boy," she groaned.
"Shut UP!" Kyou's nimble fingers wound both ends of the green wire to the oak leaf hairclip. Frantically, he looked around. "I need something else!" His eyes focused on his belt buckle, and cursing violently, he unfastened it, detaching it from the belt with a vicious tug. Murmuring a Firaga spell, he concentrated the heat into either end of the metal buckle and quickly stuck the melted ends to the yellow wire.
There was a loud sparking and a puff of smoke. Kyou screamed as the electricity sprang through the wires once again and he was thrown against the back wall.
"Kyoui!" Gaiea yelled, and vaulted over the seat to where he fell, leaving Colum to regain control of the airship. Desperately, Gaiea reached for the mic. "We need a healer in the cockpit. HURRY! And brace yourself, we're in for one hell of a bumpy landing!"

Zacke stood up. "What the hell?!" he said, not a yell, but still rather loudly. "Well in that case, care to tell us where the fucking parachutes are? Or do you not have any?!" he yelled at Colum.
Wouldn't put it past this crappy ship... he thought to himself, eyes darting around, searching the walls for anything that parachutes could be kept in.

Quis~ Colum's face contorted into an angry rage. "Shut up, Mercutio! If you want fucking parachutes, you go find the fucking things! Don't come crying to me like a baby. Go down to the next level! And can someone please get Alyeena up here?"
"I'm here, Colum," Aly's voice sounded from the back of the cockpit. "And you're going to need healing as well."
She moved towards the still body of Kyou. Frowning, she noticed massive burns beginning to form
"Oh, Hyne," she whispered as she started to cast her curative magic on the worst of the burns, watching as they slowly started to fade into scars.
"Colum, it's your turn...Come here and let me heal you," Aly said, walking towards him cautiously stepping through the rubble.
She cast a backwards glance at Kyou, watching the carrot-topped man's recovery.
Colum let Aly's curative magic wash over him like a gentle mist, just as the plane began a steep descent into the ocean.

"Hey, Cat Boy," Gaiea whispered, eyes closed. "I know you can hear me. You're fine. Alyeena healed you. Wake up." She jolted as the airship tilted almost ninety degrees and it took all her strength to keep herself and Kyou from sliding down and smashing into the huge cockpit window. "Kyou, WAKE UP!" She punctuated each word with a slap to the face.
His eyes shot open, meeting hers momentarily, before snarling, "I'm fucking awake!" Lifting an arm, he grabbed a hold of one of the seats and hefted himself up, Gaiea scrambling up into a different one, suddenly free of his weight.
"This does not look good," she murmured, face taking on a pale green shade.
"Neither do you!" Kyou shot back, unable to help the surge of glee at the pallor of her skin.
"None of us will if we become shark bait!" Gaiea clamped a hand over her mouth as Deathstrike continued its dive. Come on, Colum, come on....
Doesn't anyone in here have Float?!

Zacke rolled his eyes and ran back down to the lower level. There was no time for an argument with Colum. Even though what he had just said was completely out of line, the fact that Deathstrike was going to hit the ocean and burst into flames in a matter of minutes was bothering him more.
He glanced around, and immediately spotted a black metal cabinet on the wall. He ran over and pulled it open, and vest-like things fell out. Parachutes.
He breathed a sigh of relief and grabbed as many as he could carry, then stumbled back up to the cockpit. The vertical descent made it hard to climb the stairs.
"Hey! Hurry!" he yelled, throwing parachutes to Tomoe, Gaeia, Blaze, and Sym. "One man can only carry so many!"
He stumbled back downstairs for more.
Boy do me and O'Donahue have something to talk about when this is over...and even more if someone dies because his stupid ass didn't check the ship for this kind of shit before we left. he thought irritably.

Stardust was still junctioning when Deathstrike began shaking violently. Startled, she gazed out of the window, they were going to crash in to the ocean!
"Hey! Hurry!" Zacke burst out of the cockpit and threw a bunch of parachutes over some of the SeeDs. She creased her forehead in anxiousness.
"One man can only carry so many!"
What's happening...?
"What's happening here!?" Stardust yelled at Zacke. Seeing the guy's apprehensiveness, she followed him downstairs.
"Hey, do you hear me?" The Deathstrike shook again, she grabbed on to a ledge. "I said what happened!?"

Catching the parachute that was thrust into her hands, Sym joined Stardust in wondering what was happening. One second she'd been looking out the window and junctioning Die-sha, the next the ship was taking a nose dive into the ocean. Not exactly the best thing for an airship full of SeeD's to be doing, was it? And just what will a parachute do for me when I'm underwater?
"Um, does anyone else feel like getting out of here before we crash?" Sym asked, seeing that she probably wouldn't get a reply to her earlier questions.

Rika stood quickly; Tempest was always junctioned to her, so she didn't have to worry about that. The plane's jerking movements kept her off-balance, and she stumbled into the seat next to her. Zacke was throwing out parachutes, and Rika desperately hoped that there would be enough for everyone. If there wasn't...
Then something dawned on her. Once they were in the water, what the hell were they going to do? Swim to the research center? And how were they going to leave? That is, if they weren't attacked by sharks, or any other ocean creature.
Something... rather, someone, was tugging at her mind. Tempest was prodding at Rika's mind; she was impatient.
Realization struck Rika again: could she summon Tempest during this crisis, and ask her for help? She had never tried it, but her affinity with the GF ran very deep...
"Listen, I have an idea! Everyone parachute down to the water, I can summon my GF, and she can take us to the Research Center! Let's go!" she shouted. There was no time to refute the suggestion; if they wanted to die, then let them. They were going down, and fast; any idea was worth a shot at that point.

Tomoe wheeled around as the dragonship grew unsteady beneath her feet. What the hell's going on?! she thought, stumbling slightly as she searched for the other SeeDs. Knew it! I fucking hate airships--! Her thoughts were interrupted as she reflexively caught the parachute Zacke Mercutio had thrown at her. "What the hell happened, Mercutio?!" she shouted at him, struggling to maintain her balance.
I hate airships, I hate airships, I hate airships...
"That god-damned pilot!" she muttered. "I should've known..."
The airship suddenly lurched beneath her, and Tomoe dropped into a crouch. It was then that she heard Rika. Summoning a Guardian Force for something other than battle?! Is that possible?!
She couldn't hear anyone else as the airship began a speedy descent. ...shit!!! "Alright, Rika!" Tomoe yelled. "I'm right behind you!!"

Terry stood there totally calm in a sea of turmoil. He didn't crack a smile or a goofy grin. This was a serious situation. Are there enough parachutes for everyone? We can use the GF to reach the Deep Sea Research Center, but can it hold all of us? So much questions.
Catching the parachute in the air, he looked upon it in his hand. He turned back and looked at the pilots still struggling to slow the decent of the airship.
There isn't enough is there...?
Suddenly with a twist of his wrist. Terry threw his parachute to the pilots giving them a stare of... something? He threw a wad of paper into the air directly infront of their face.
Before he rushed out into the airlock and jumped into the sky...

What's going on?! Is she insane?! The airship is hurtling towards the ocean and she hasn't noticed?!
Zacke jumped off the last stair and wheeled around to face Stardust.
"In case you hadn't noticed, Deathstrike is flying headfirst into the ocean. We are all going to die unless we jump out." he paused to pick up a parachute that had fallen from the cabinet. "From this height, without a parachute, we would die, so I suggest you strap one on!" he threw it at her for her to catch. Probably more forcefully than was necessary, but stress was high, and this woman was on his nerves at the moment.

Going downstairs, Aly could see chaos. And that Stardust bitch was the cause of it.
Aly almost screamed at Stardust in frustration, but kept it under control.
She grabbed a parachute that Zacke had thrown at her, putting it on in a hurry. She heard Rika's voice, and turned.
"Sure, that sounds like a brilliant idea," Aly said kindly.

God this is stupid this is stupid this is stupid this is stupid this is stupid this is stupid this is stupid this is stupid this is stupid this is stupid... Terry thought while falling at an incredibly fast pace. He looked back and wondered why everyone was still on board. Deathstrike was complete diving and didn't look like it was slowing down either.
Damn get outta there already!!!
He looked down and realized that he was higher then he suspected. Closing his eyes he started meditating and trying to keep calm and focused.
They better start getting out of there
Terry started a downward dive still with his eyes closed. Just a little above 100 feet he opened his eyes. He was streaming and cutting the air like a knife. A bullet falling out of the sky. Right before he hit the surface he screams one word unheard by anyone besides him.
A brief flash of light engulfs Terry before he hits the surface of the ocean, leaving behind a monster water spout...
Slowly Terry's body floats to the surface a strange glow around his body. Upon close inspection you'll notice the water around him isn't touching him but 3 inches away from his body.
A piece of paper is floating near his body a couple of feet away from where Terry was floating. He was totally unconscious but was able to scribble something before passing out.

Rika whipped her head around, in time to see Terry jumping out... with no parachute. Her eyes widened, and she ran to the opening. "Holy SHIT!" she shouted, before turning back around. She hastily grabbed and donned a parachute; briefly looking over her shoulder to see that everyone had one, she jumped out.
The wind whipped at her, and she narrowed her eyes, attempting to look for Terry. She spotted him, laying on top of the water.
On TOP of the water?!
She pulled the rip cord, and slowly drifted down to where Terry lay, bracing herself for the cold ocean waters.
