Tomoe heard Infinity's words. And she snapped. She had had mediocre teammates before, in past missions, but Infinity's personality was grating, and Tomoe would not let her badmouth the team just because of her bad mood. She stalked over to Infinity, her wet boots making no sound on the concrete, and looked down at the girl with icy amber eyes.
"You," Tomoe said, hands loose at her sides although deep inside she wanted to hold Ambition, "have done nothing but whine, scowl, and belittle everyone and everything we have done. How you managed to get on this mission is beyond my comprehension, Infinity, but this team needs to stick together, and you need to work with us, if you want to f*fucking live."
Tomoe's quiet voice was edged with razor ice. "Walker is missing. We are going to come up with a plan to find her if Liani and deUltim cannot. So if you aren't going to help, then shut...the hell...up."
Turning her back on Infinity, Tomoe walked away.

Alyeena came jogging up the beach, twisting her hair to get rid of the water that was in it.
"If you're not going to help, then...shut. the. hell. up," she could hear Tomoe's voice yelling at Stardust.
It was something Aly had wanted to do but refrained from it.
"Stardust. Either you pull your act together, or I'll personally see to it that Colum puts Assesino through your goddamned throat," Aly hissed through anger. "All you've done is bitch and moan and say how incompetent we are, and yet you haven't lifted a Hyne-damned finger to help. When we were about to crash, I saw you just stand there....Get over it, Stardust. And stay the hell out of my sight unless you really want Assesino stuck in your throat. Go prove to us that you're worth the snide comments you've given us!" Aly was angry, and it was a rare occasion when she did lose her temper.
But, Stardust really was starting to get on her nerves to the point where she couldn't take it.
Turning away from Stardust and Tomoe, Aly scanned the horizon for any sign of Gaiea.
Meanwhile, Colum had built a makeshift fire with a few logs of wood he had found.
Standing up, he could hear the voices of Alyeena and Tomoe shouting at Stardust.
It's about time someone got that woman off her high horse he thought sardonically.

That one comment coming from Alyeena did it all. With a loud thud on the brick, Stardust stood up and yelled.
You don't have the right to talk to me that way...!
"What? You want to fight?!" The belligerent girl glared fiercely at Alyeena as her Ciceronian started to materialize.
"Don't you dare point the blame to me! It's not my fault the Deathstrike crashed and that Gaiea was missing!" Stardust roared.
She was blazing with anger. She let these people take over the ship thinking that they would bring them safely to the research center. But look what happened, the mission became worse!
You bunch of lowlifes!!

Blaze had not panicked or screamed when the deathstrike took a dive. In fact she had not uttered a single word. She landed safely and proceeded to glance about wearily as her teammates fretted over the "loss" or Gaeia.
Tomoe and Stardust started to quarrel. Blaze let out an exasperated sigh and quietly slipped into the deep sea research center without anyone knowing.

Zacke stepped over to stand between Alyeena and Stardust.
"Okay, what you said was way out of line. You do not threaten anyone on this team, regardless of how high and mighty you think you are, Ms. Valentine." he addressed Alyeena coldly. "I'm not the boss, I'm not trying to be, I'm just trying to tell you that what you just said was not in SeeD code, and you could be removed from this group."
Pity I don't have a cell phone... he thought.
He then turned to Stardust. "And you have to admit, you've been rude, and that's your choice, no one can tell you how to act. But I strongly recommend you lighten up...we're supposed to be a team." he said. "We might not be a good one...but that's because people like you aren't willing to smile a little. You will never get this done alone, so I suggest you get used to us." he said icily, motioning around at the members of the 'team' on the beach.
He walked away from them, and over to Tomoe.
"So, like you said, we need to plan, in case those two get tired." he motioned out at the ocean, over at Rika, Sym, and their GFs. "Got any ideas?" he asked Tomoe.

Terry walks up behind Stardust and taps her on the shoulder to get her attention.
[It's alright] he wrote out giving a sympathetic look.
[It's understandable that we all can be a little bit spiff, let's just try and get through this mission as a team, okay? We have a mission now, and I know you want to get Adel as much as the rest of us, and this is the only way to do it. Pl ease try and work with us...]
Terry signed a little, from exhaustion or stress, he didn't know. But right now he is just really worried about Gaiea. Zacke seems to have the idea. And it's nice that two GF are out there trying to find her, but I just wish I wasn't so hurt, then maybe I could help.

Rika was quickly losing stamina as she continued to tread water. Her movements became sluggish, and before long, she fought to keep her head above the waves.
No! We've got to find Gaiea!
She forced herself to keep working to stay afloat, wondering where Tempest was; she had dove underwater to look for Gaiea.
Rika heard shouts coming from the landing pad, and she knew someone had snapped. It was a real pity, seeing as everyone was probably distracted, and were not watching the ocean.
After a while, she began panting heavily, losing breath. Just as she was about to call Tempest back, something grabbed her ankle, twisted around it, and jerked her below the ocean's surface.
She only had time to let a short scream out before she sunk into the cold waters. She tried to look at her assailant, but all she could make out in the murky water was the thick, black tentacle wrapped around her leg. It pulled her deeper and deeper, and the light around her was quickly growing dimmer. She tried to conserve what oxygen she had, while beating at the tentacle to no avail.
Desperate, she cast Blind on the monster, and looked wildly for something to get the tentacle. Quickly becoming lightheaded, she grabbed a chopstick from her hairstyle and drove it deeply into the black, slimy tentacle.
It quickly released its grip on her, and she realized that she was too weak to power herself to the surface. Darkness was closing in on her, her eyesight was fading.
But then she felt something... Tempest... take a strong, but gentle hold of her, and bring her to the surface. Rika frantically broke the surface, and sucked in the air with rattling ferocity. Tempest carried her to the shore, and she threw herself onto the beach, coughing, sputtering, and panting heavily at the same time.

Stardust's fiery glare over Alyeena didn't simmer, yet, her Ciceronian started to fade. Maybe Zacke was right. She wouldn't get this whole mission done alone. But as long as SeeDs like these exist, she wouldn't get this mission done with them either.
Before she could walk away, someone tapped her on the shoulder. It was, the daredevil, Terry looking sympathetic over her. She shot him a look. Seeing his odd way of communication, she creased her forehead.
This guy...
"Leave me alone!" Stardust turned her purple blue eyes away from him. She wasn't in the mood for tittle-tattles.
As she began to get back on her rest, she caught a glimpse of the two SeeDs in the ocean. However, something was wrong. One of them was missing.

Blaze frowned and cast her eyes downward. The entire inside of the Deep Sea Research center was pitch black.
there must be some sort of light switch somewhere
Blaze took 3 steps forward, and plunged headfirst into a pool of thick green muck. With difficulty, she managed to stand up, only to find that she was waist deep in the sewage.
"ohhhh..... sick!" She moaned. She found that she couldn't move either of her legs. "Now I'm stuck here" She rambled to herself.
She was covered with slime and looked like a greenish black sewage monster from hell.
I guess I'll wait for the others to arrive. They'll be here shortly. I just hope they don't think I'm a monster and try to attack me. I hope Gaeia's alright. But if she dies that's alright too. No use crying over spilled milk.

Staring over the ocean, her forehead creased. And she thought this mission couldn't possibly be as worse as it already was. Another one was missing again. Stardust cursed under her breath. She felt that someone was making a fool out of their party and she didn't like it.
What is it, this time?!
"Hey!" Stardust turned her gaze back to where Terry was. He was still there, thinking about something.
"Where's that girl with a blue haired GF?" she hissed impatiently. Hearing no response from him, she decided to just ignore him and talk to someone else. She wouldn't want to wait for him scribble all those nonsense while something was terribly wrong in the area.
"Never mind!"
She bellowed at Zacke and Tomoe.
"You two! Stop that stupid planning and look over there!" The cantankerous teenager pointed towards the ocean.
"We've lost another one!"

RIKA! Terry's eyes shot open. She's missing?!?
He looked out to the ocean seeing nothing but the other GF. Where's Tempest?!?
Nooooo not a second one.... first Gaiea then Rika
He tried to speak out to the others... his disgusting excuse for a voice came out softly from lack of use. No one heard, which was actually a good thing. He wasn't ready to let them hear his voice. Terry gripped his head, why was this happening to all his short-time friends?
He turned towards the Deep Sea Research Center... Blaze, I know you're in there... be safe.
He turns towards the sea. Gaiea... Rika, come back to us.

Rika looked up, her shoulders shaking slightly from being so weak. The unfamiliar surroundings indicated only one thing: she wasn't on the same island as the others.
"FUCK!" she shouted down into the sand. For all they knew, she could have drowned; plus, Gaiea was still missing. She had to find a way to show them that she was here...
Looking around the island, she gathered her bearings. She was on a small island, across from the other side of the Research Center. Thinking a moment, she gathered her strength, and called Tempest back into her.
[I'll call you back in a moment, but I have to conserve some energy right now...]
Rika pushed herself into a kneeling position on the beach, and looking around for Fastitocalons, or any other monsters, she shouted "Thundaga!" and sent the lightning into the air. "Firaga!" she then shouted, and sent crimson flames up into the sky. She hoped to Hyne that they were able to see her signal, until she made it back to them.

Terry paced back and forth while the others remained inactive. On an outward appearance he looked as if he was thinking deeply, but on the inside he was frustrated.
How did this happen?
Pacing the island once again he tried to think of something. Suddenly a loud bang is heard in the sky and Terry jerks his head up.
What's that?
It looked like a Firaga and a Thundaga. A signal!
[Alright we found someone, and guessing that Tempest is heading that way now I think it's Rika] he wrote out to whomever seemed to care.
yes... Rika, but we're still missing Gaiea... what happened to her... I hope se isn't... dead?

Zacke turned his head to look where Stardust pointed just in time to see the Firaga spell.
She's signaling to us...she's okay...she might even have Gaiea...but we don't have any way to get to her. I guess we'll have to rely on Tempest to bring her back.
"I think we just need to give them time to rest, and get back here." he said, referring to Rika and her GF.
"As for Gaiea...if Rika hasn't seen her, we've probably lost her. We can't wait out here all day. I say we give her another thirty minutes or so. If we haven't found her by then...she's gone. I mean...there's nothing we can do, right?" he asked aloud, to whoever was listening, hoping he wasn't the only one thought about it this way.
Does sound kinda...insensitive... he thought.
