"This is a waste of my time." Blaze bit at the guard. She took one last look at Laice.
"Pathetic. You'd better beat the information out of her. But I want it." Blaze told Gone and left the office.
I bet I'll come back here at three to see Laice in worse condition than before.

"I'm gonna die!" she moaned, reaching out to grab the sides of his arms with her hands. "I'll die here, I'll--" her sentence broke as a sob escaped her throat. Her voice was raspy and she sounded as if she was in pain. The way she gripped his arms looked as if she were holding on for her life.
She sucked in air after each sob. Her teeth chattered, her legs pulled in under her. She looked deathly pale, and from this close Gone could tell she'd lost weight since their last meeting.
"Auntie...where did auntie go?!" she suddenly asked Gone in an urgent tone, tears streaking her face. "I want auntie, where's auntie?! I have to see auntie..." she moved closer to Gone, burying her face into his jacket.

Midway to the dorms, Jun couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that kept clinging to her.
Deciding that she would never be able to rest with such a feeling anyway, she changed direction and headed towards the big room where Laice's cell was in.
Pushing the door open as quietly as she could, she saw Laice burying her face into Gone's chest, her words muffled by his jacket.
Didn't Xu say she doesn't let anyone touch her?
{I guess you can say he really has his way around ladies}
Struggling to keep her surprise in check, she turned towards the guard, who was moving towards her, perhaps to block her from entering the cell.
"I only need a couple minutes." She whispered. Slowly, she approached the cell, crouching down beside them.
"How's she?" She asked, tentatively stroking Laice's hair.
Without waiting for his reply, she whispered gently at the distraught lady.
"Shhh... it's alright now. Nobody's gonna hurt you anymore."
She stood up, hoping she hadn't done anything damaging to Laice by her actions.
"Looks like you've got it under control." She said to Gone with a blank expression, turned and started to leave the cell.
"Wait!" She heard Gone say.
She stopped walking and turned to face him again.
"What?" She asked, her face maintaining the mask of blankness.
What the hell does he want now?

Gone blinked slowly when Laice buried her face in his jacket. He awkwardly tried to comfort Laice. “Shush… No one’s going to hurt you, or kill you while we’re around. We wouldn’t let that happen.”
Gone looked up when he heard Jun enter… she didn’t look mad… that was good. Gone watched as Jun stroked Laice’s hair and asked him how she was, the left without waiting for his answer. She was still mad at him.
“Wait,” He called out as loud as he dared. Thanking Hyne when Jun stopped.
"What?" Gone winced at that. She was going soldier emotionless on him.
“I err…” Gone trailed off, he didn’t think he should jump right into the ordering her about bit, “I’m err… sorry about earlier… I deal with stress that way… not fair to you.” Gone took a deep breath, apologizing was hard, he looked down at Laice for a moment, absently rubbing her back comfortingly, “Err… Could you go see if Xu is up or something and find out who this ‘Auntie’ person is and see if they could come here… Laice wants to see them.”

She studied Gone briefly after he made his request. He looked rather apologetic.He probably didn't know what she was angry about. Hell, she didn't know what she was angry about. She was abnormal today, that's for sure.
"Alright. You stay here with her while I ask Xu." Jun replied with an even tone, pivoted on her heel and strode briskly out of the room.
A few turns and an elevator ride later, she arrived in front of Xu's office door.
She knocked on the door a few times, opening it hastily without waiting for Xu's call for her to go in.
Zacke was already in the room, apparently submitting an oral report to the Headmistress.
"I...I'm sorry to interrupt Ma'am. But Gone has asked me to inform you that Laice wishes to see an 'auntie' of hers... and we were wondering if you would know anything about this?" She finished with a salute, her glance shifting nervously between Xu and Zacke.
{Well that sure was a perfect show of composure.} Sapphy commented sarcastically. {I'm sure that would chalk up several impressive points to your portfolio.}
And she didn't reply, as her mind was in a jumble

Zacke scratched the back of his head, turning away from Xu and making a move for the door.
"It's alright Jun, we're finished anyway." he said, his fatigue evident in his tone. He turned his head back to Xu as his fingers curled around the doorknob. "So you'll take care of everything, then?"
Xu gave him a solemn nod. He returned it, then turned and left the room.
Xu stood from her desk, frowning slightly in thought and crossing her arms. "Laice has no living family. I'm sorry, I have no idea who she's talking about. How did you get her to talk? She's speaking in coherent sentences?"

"That's strange..." Jun replied, her brow creasing slightly. "Perhaps she wasn't talking about real family, but someone whom she's very close to? I don't really know. I'm only conveying what Gone said to me. It appears that he has managed to coax something out of her."
She gave a tired smile. "I think it'd be better if you see for yourself, Ma'am."

Xu nodded. "Yes...well, thank you for telling me about it. I'll go see her now."
She held the door open for Jun to exit, then left the office herself, locking the door on the way out.
"You should probably go get some rest or something, Ms. Kuroki. You look exhausted." she gave Jun a comforting pat-rub on her shoulder and moved on down the corridor.
Once she reached the room, she approached the third cell. "You may leave now, Mr. Vacc. I'm going to try and talk to her alone for a while. Thank you for your kindness."

Jun nodded at Xu's suggestion, trudging towards the dorms again after she left the office.
That was probably it. I was angry because I was exhausted! After a good night's sleep it'll all be gone. She thought as she opened the door to her room, trying to convince herself and Sapphy, whom she knew would be listening in to her thoughts.

Yes, I do! So leave me alone and let me rest!She fell onto the bed without even changing out of her clothes.

Gone looked up at Xu when she spoke. He didn’t expect she would come, but then again he supposed this was probably pretty important.
“Uh…” He looked at Laice, “Only if you’re sure.” Well, of course she’s sure idiot, she wouldn’t have said it if she wasn’t, he berated himself. “Laice, honey, I’m going to go now. But if I can I’ll come back before we leave.”
